For Osteoarthritis "I received injections in both knees. After a couple of weeks, pain was worse. Pain never eased up. Then my heart went into afib, shocked twice, and finally an ablation performed. Headaches, itchy all over, and severe joint pain in both knees. Can’t walk. Have to use a scooter. I truly believe my heart problems were due to some reaction to these injections. After eight months of having the injections, the cartridges in knee joints are completely gone. Bad product. I would not advise anyone to go through this excruciating pain."

For Osteoarthritis "I had a Monovisc shot to my knee less than one month ago, I am having knee pain, extreme warmth, and joint pain with back pain. This is my first time getting this shot, and not a very good outcome so far. I made an appointment to see my doctor."

For Osteoarthritis "I had 4 ml of MONOVISC on the 10th of August. That is the 3 doses. I have felt in the past 3 days that my back is out, my knees are sore. I can only compare it with Cortisone, which went everyplace until it finally went to the knee. My previous MD said, “It's like injecting a plastic bag, it goes where it wants to.” Ultimately, it will settle in the knee. I have meralgia parasthetica from abdominal surgery, and oh, I can feel it has settled down in my lower abdomen, that is MONOVISC. I would love to hear about someone who has experienced this as well. It is hard to walk due to the pressure below."

For Osteoarthritis "I got diagnosed with chondromalacia in both knees 7 years ago. Fast forward to the present, it's now osteoarthritis in both knees and clearly visible on x-ray. I got the Orthovisc shots for the first time this month. The shots are rather unpleasant, sure, but they are totally worth it. Your knees will be rather sore for the next 24 hours, but it's tolerable. I'm extremely pleased with the results. I had been taking Voltaren for a few years, and that only alleviated the worst of the symptoms. The stiffness from sitting long periods or waking up in the morning is almost completely gone. Stairs no longer hurt. I still have to ice my knees and experience some stiffness after workouts. Nothing will bring my old knees back, I guess."
