Fluticasone nasal for Rhinitis "I used to use tons of OTC nasal sprays to the point of addiction, really. I had to stop, but both nostrils would clog completely shut without it. I have also severe nasal allergic reactions and swollen air passages/asthma. My Dr. gives me Flonase by Rx. Within a couple of weeks, my nose cleared, both nostrils stopped swelling, no more nasal allergy, and this has been a miracle med for me! I never needed Afrin or anything again. My sense of smell is still low, but I can smell now!"

Fluticasone nasal for Rhinitis "Work great! I have post nasal drip and year-round allergies. My ENT suggested I use a steroid nasal spray, and I have used Flonase for almost 2 years. Once in a while, I get a bloody nose and take only half a dose until I feel better. I'd rather have a nosebleed twice a year and be able to breathe! I don't get the bad reviews on this site at all. Reviews everywhere else are very good."

"This is probably the worst nasal spray I have ever used. I had blocked eustachian tubes. The side effects are horrendous. I already suffer from anxiety, but this made it a whole lot worse, especially at night. My mood changes every 2 minutes. My heart races horribly. I can’t sleep. The anxiousness is worse at night as I am trying to sleep. I get this very weird feeling in the whole of my body when I try to relax, and I get up in a panic with a racing heart. I have been off it for 2-4 days now, and I am still having the side effects of it. I started using it a few weeks ago. If anyone is thinking of using it, please read the label and the possible side effects before you use it, as I stupidly didn’t. If anyone has a sensitive body or is sensitive to meds, I would advise not using this one."

Fluticasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "I suffer from year-round allergies to at least a half dozen allergens. My doctor has had me on Claritin and Nasonex. While they didn't completely alleviate my symptoms, he had no other suggestions. When I ran out of Nasonex, I decided to forego the hassle of stopping by my doctor's office to pick up a prescription and instead got Flonase from a nearby Walgreen's. This stuff is the best! It alleviated all of my symptoms (constant runny nose, itchy and watery eyes, nasal congestion). So much so that I can breathe through my nose at night without my usual Breathe Right strip. Thank you, GSK!"

Fluticasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "Flonase has been amazing for me. I began using it to stop my 17-year addiction to Afrin. It wasn't easy at first; I almost gave up. But, after about three weeks, I noticed I didn't need to use the Afrin as much. I used the Flonase exactly as directed, and I think this made a difference. My advice is to give it time! I used both Afrin and Flonase the first few weeks. I tried to really cut back on the Afrin and only use it if I had to (still led me to using 4 times per day). One day, I woke up breathing just fine and didn't reach for the Afrin; I only used the Flonase. For the rest of the day, I didn't use Afrin! It's been 30 full days Afrin-free! I never thought I could kick it. Be patient, use it as directed, and keep using it! I can breathe better, wake up non-stuffy, can smell perfumes, have less sneezing, less headaches, and best of all, I don't have to tote around a bottle of Afrin everywhere I go! I use the Costco brand, and it worked like a charm and is very affordable."

Fluticasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "Flonase works so well! I've been on it for about a week now, and I'm noticing fast improvements. Around the 4th day, my sinus headaches were slim to none, my watery right eye stopped, and I didn't sneeze 10 times a day. No side effects. I am still a little stuffed up... but that's what sinus tea is for! Thank you, Flonase!"

For Allergic Rhinitis "Do not use this awful stuff that causes headaches, eye pain, back pain, anxiety, racing heart, nosebleeds, foggy brain, and feeling generally unwell. I've tried to stop taking these 4 times over a period of 2 years, and each time felt better, but congestion came back. So I am now using a seawater spray, all natural, and feeling so much better."

Fluticasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "Works wonderfully. Takes a few days to kick in and leaves an unpleasant feeling in the throat, though. The latter can easily be dealt with by using it just before eating. Surprised to see this is a prescription medicine, though. It's over the counter in my home country and in other countries I've visited. Same goes for many similar nasal sprays."

Fluticasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "I went to a new allergy doctor, and she had me stop all of my allergy meds for 7 days before my first office visit. I did as requested and withdrew them all. She had me start taking Flonase Sensimist, one dose in the morning. After a month's use, I was overwhelmed by the drainage in my throat, the smell of my morning coffee, and the smell of grease on French fries. They all have a nasty bug taste, like when we were kids riding our bikes and that bug flies in our mouth. YUCK. I have stopped using this product, but it's a slow move forward to regain my smell and the mucus in the AM."

Fluticasone nasal for Rhinitis "I have chronic sinus congestion without explanation, and it interferes with me being able to use my new CPAP. A friend recommended Afrin, and it works great, but my sleep specialist warned me not to use it more than three days in a row, and I haven't. She also recommended that I switch to Flonase. Well, I'm about to go to bed, and it's day 4 in my rotation, so I decided to try Flonase. Well, instead of taking my congestion from 50% to 0% like Afrin, I now have a splitting headache, and my congestion went from 50% to 100%. Now I won't be able to sleep at all, because I can't use Afrin tonight, and instead of being partially blocked (which I can kind of deal with), I am completely blocked."

Fluticasone nasal for Rhinitis "I have been using this product twice a day for several weeks. Other than a small amount of blood in nasal secretions, there have been no noticeable side effects. I have experienced decreased nasal congestion and improved breathing."

For Rhinitis "This has been a life-saver for me. It allows me to breathe through my nose like a normal human. If I stop using it for a week, my nasal passages feel like they swell shut, and I can't breathe through my nose. I am absolutely miserable when I run out of fluticasone."

Fluticasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "I took Flonase for a month, as recommended by my ENT, in order to treat tinnitus. Flonase did not help my tinnitus at all. After about a month of using it, I had to stop due to extreme dryness and pain inside my nose. I've never experienced symptoms like this before taking Flonase. It's been 6 months since stopping Flonase, and the dryness has improved, but the pain has not improved."

For Allergies "I was prescribed this for 2 months to use night and day. I did 1 spray morning and night, and it was working so great. Then, around 1.5 months in, I started getting nosebleeds from my deviated nostril. I stopped using it, but I still have nosebleeds like a month after stopping. The nosebleeds are triggered by manipulation of my nose, sometimes yawning, blowing my nose, etc. They're bothersome because my allergies are back because I stopped fluticasone, so I have a constant runny nose that I have to wipe, which causes nosebleeds. I wished it worked for me without this side effect."

Fluticasone nasal for Rhinitis "My doctor put me on this because my nose gets stuffy when I lay down, and they didn't want me using Afrin. I've been on Flonase almost a week, and I notice no difference. Sprayed each nostril every night... nose still stuffy. I can't sleep, and it's going on 3 am, and I have to be up at 7. Nothing clears my nose as good as Afrin, but it's bad for continuous use. So this stuff doesn't work."

Fluticasone nasal for Rhinitis "It worked well at first and helped to open my airways and allow me to breathe more easily. However, it also had a strange stimulatory effect on me that was similar to that of caffeine. It seems to have lost some of its efficacy, but after taking a nearly year-long break, I tried it again today and found that it is working all right. Although it does give me an odd sensation of cold air feeling colder than it actually is, it is manageable for me, and I don't find it too bothersome. This is just my personal experience."

Fluticasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "I have been on Flonase for a little over 2 years. I hadn't noticed any issues until here recently. I contracted COVID-19 in January of 2021 and, like many people, lost most of my sense of taste and smell. After 6 months, it really hadn't returned. After COVID, I started having daily mild nosebleeds. A few weeks ago, I started getting sinus headaches, specifically after trying a generic Flonase and then back with name brand Flonase a few days later. I decided to go off of Flonase 3 weeks ago. No more sinus headaches. My nasal bleeding is less. My sense of smell and taste are back in full swing but not quite normal after just 3 weeks of being off Flonase. I about cried when I could smell a bar of soap or bacon cooking. I thought I was a long hauler with COVID-19, but it seems it was Flonase. My experience might not be the same for everyone, many who had COVID-19 do lose their taste and smell as a result of the virus, that just wasn't the case for me."

Fluticasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "Used it for a few months, once every morning. Works great to stop the allergies throughout the day. I've definitely not had the debilitating problems that come through now and again as if I caught a cold, and this definitely stops that from happening. But the piercing headaches are bad after a few minutes, so I have to take ibuprofen to get through it. Then, I am OK through the day, mostly, I can function. But after a while, a couple of months, my whole body started to feel numb. Can't feel my back, arms, legs, hands, feet, shoulders, and numb in a way that I am not able to perform athletically. If I get hurt, twist a wrist, or pull a muscle, I can feel those kinds of things, but for coordination, I felt detached, weak, awful, angry, annoyed."

Fluticasone nasal "Yes, I use Flonase for only three days due to a cold I have and allergies. The worst ever caused my nose to burn my nose and lips. It left me a heavy scab that I can't get rid of. It makes you dizzy. It is nasty. I recommend do not use. Instead, go buy generic Claritin to be on the safe side. Don't believe everything doctors say or want to sell you."

Fluticasone nasal for Rhinitis "I suffer from COPD, which also involves a constantly runny nose. I also suffer from seasonal allergies, which make things worse with the sneezing and watering eyes. I have tried various allergy medicines in pill form, only to have unwanted side effects even in the non-drowsy form. My pulmonologist made a suggestion of trying a nasal spray. So I purchased some Flonase, and after reading the information on its use, I tried it. Oh boy, what a difference! My nose is not running, breathing is clear and free. I am a very happy person who is not suffering anymore. This is a great product and one that I will be using from now on. I can now enjoy the spring without the allergies."

Fluticasone nasal for Rhinitis "Flonase is the only medication that effectively treats my allergies the best. I have tried other medications, and when my allergies are at their peak, at their worst, I get terribly sick with a sinus infection, upper respiratory bronchitis. I get a lot of problems, but with Flonase, it clears all that right up and keeps me from getting sick."

Fluticasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "Best nasal spray on the market. Veramyst has changed my life. Not sure how I survived this long without it. I am 42, and for most of my life, I have always had a stuffy nose. Thanks to this medication, I feel like life has just begun for me."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I had a severe post nasal drip issue, so I went to an ENT who quickly suggested that I start using Flonase. My ENT warned me that it may take a while for it to start working, so I should be patient. I was directed to use it 2 times a day for at least six weeks. It has been two days, and I can say I will never use Flonase again. The first day was fine after I used it. It wasn’t until the next morning that I felt a sore throat sensation and realized that the Flonase was mixing in with my post nasal drip and making my throat feel worse than it did to begin with. Nonetheless, I decided to still push through and use it again the second day. After about 2-3 hours, I felt like I was coming down with something. Same sore throat feeling, but along with extreme fatigue and a weird chest feeling. I was supposed to see some friends I haven’t seen in a while tonight but decided to stay in because the Flonase is making me feel like I have the flu. I’m glad I’m not alone, and this is a common occurrence."

Fluticasone nasal for Rhinitis "I used Flonase for several months. It seemed to be working well. Then I started to get nosebleeds. Then I was told by medical personnel that the Flonase can thin the mucous membranes inside the nose. So, I'll never use this again."
