Fluticasone nasal for Rhinitis "Horrible allergy symptoms - total stopped-up nose and sneezing and unable to sleep due to congestion! I'd been using decongestant nasal sprays daily through allergy season, which was becoming all year! I started using Flonase one week ago at night, and within 2 days, all symptoms are gone! I love you, Flonase. I'm telling everyone!"

Fluticasone nasal for Rhinitis "Within 2 hours of my 2nd dose of Flonase, I experienced difficulty breathing and had crusting around the openings of my nose. I also had a feeling of extreme restlessness, much like I would imagine restless leg persons are afflicted with. The next morning, I was SOB with minimal exertion and experienced a worsening sore throat and pharyngitis, with difficulty speaking above a whisper."

Fluticasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "Do not buy this! Like other nose sprays, this does nothing to help your allergies. Unlike pills that actually work and cure all your allergy symptoms, Flonase does nothing but burn your nose and leave you with a very harsh aftertaste. Their ads are very misleading, and Flonase needs to be taken off the market for good."

Fluticasone nasal for Rhinitis "The disappointing thing is how effective Flonase is at immediately reducing my sinus inflammation/congestion. I say this because - through trial and error - I've determined that Flonase causes me too many adverse effects to continue use. Much like an episode of anxiety, it comes with a racing heart and jittery feeling. My impression is that many doctors are either unaware of how common this tends to be or presume that a certain number of patients are hypochondriacs. To be fair, health-care professionals do have to deal with their fair share of hypochondriacs. But I would still make the argument that this medication is not ideal for patients sensitive to steroids (in general). Which is a widely accepted side effect of steroid medications - you're not crazy!"

Fluticasone nasal for Rhinitis "I got sick earlier this week with the flu, which triggered a sinus infection and bronchitis. My doctor prescribed OTC Flonase for the symptom of sinus congestion. I began taking Flonase, two squirts a day in each nostril, on Tuesday. While I was in the midst of the illness, with fever, body aches, and severe congestion and coughing, I did not think there was a problem with the fact that I could not taste or smell. It is the fifth day, however, and while my sense of taste has come back about 40%, my sense of smell has not come back at all. I became curious and looked up 'Flonase and sense of smell' on the internet. Apparently, people are reporting loss of sense of smell when using this product. I hope mine comes back."

Fluticasone nasal for Rhinitis "Flonase does nothing for my vasomotor rhinitis. After taking it for 2 weeks, I felt chronic fatigue for several months. I tried it again, had the same problem. Drugs aren't always the answer, there must be a better solution. I grow tired of my ailment after 7 years of it."

Fluticasone nasal for Nasal Polyps "I had four polyps removed two years ago. My physician prescribed Veramyst. I have really enjoyed using this medication once daily during the two years. No sign of the polyps returning. In addition, during the four years, I haven't had a cold or a sinus problem. Prior, I would be bothered with sinus problems during the winter season. I recommend this spray and will continue to use it myself."

Fluticasone nasal for Nasal Polyps "I have extensive sinus disease and so many polyps that a CT could not pick up if part of my sinuses even existed anymore. I've also had 2 surgeries with no relief. My quality of life has been VERY poor. My ENT just put me on Veramyst, and after 2 days, I noticed a big relief. I don't feel like a colony of giant polyps is invading every orifice in my head. I haven't had a migraine, earache, or retro-orbital headache in over a week. I haven't regained my sense of smell, however, I'm still discovering the pros and cons of Veramyst. My neck, back, and other body pain are worse, but I don't know if that's because the focus has been taken off my face and head. Right now, I'm just thankful for some relief and delaying frontal sinus obliteration."

Fluticasone nasal for Rhinitis "I have really bad allergies that are pretty much year-round now! I was taking Claritin D for months before I found Flonase! I took both for about 2 days and then no longer needed the Claritin! It was REALLY worth the money! Everything started clearing up within 24 hours... it's been 5 days now and all my symptoms are gone!! Don't listen to the haters! This medicine is AMAZING! I told my dad about it because he has allergies like me. He started it yesterday and I got a text from him today thanking me for telling him about it! He said he can already breathe again!"

For Nasal Polyps "For the last few years, my allergies/sinuses have become really bad due to the forced dry heating system where I live. I started taking loratadine 10 mg, which helped some with congestion, but it just wasn't enough. I ended up getting nasal polyps that made my nose bleed, obstructed my smell and sense of taste, caused difficulty in draining my sinuses, and made it hard to breathe in through my nose, so I started using Flonase. I am only on day 6, and the feeling of my skull bursting slowly went away, I can breathe easier and smell again. It already started to shrink the polyps, and the nose bleeding stopped, feeling much better."

Fluticasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "I took it for a little over a week. I thought it may need a week for it to set in. It didn't stop my allergies at all, in fact, it worsened shortly after use. I had light nausea and heavy migraines shortly after taking it every day. I stopped taking it because it was ineffective and due to the side effects. I've had allergies for almost a year. I'm going to try something else (Alavert). Claritin, Allegra, Flonase, Equate, Zyrtec, Benadryl, and Nasonex have all failed me so far."

Fluticasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "Every time I use Flonase, it enhances my symptoms to a greater and almost debilitating level. My eyes become red, inflamed, and watery. My nose runs more. My throat becomes red and sore. I am not sure if I am allergic to an ingredient in the spray or not, but it does not provide any relief. Only makes the ones I have multiply."

Fluticasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "I am a 68-year-old woman, and I used this medication for almost 2 weeks. I will never take this medication again. It relieved my seasonal allergies great (runny/stuffy nose and extremely watery eyes), but the side effects were not pleasant and absolutely not worth going through. I experienced very bad muscular back pain close to my spine, had muscle aches that were all over the place, my hair and body became very, very oily, and I had itching on my torso, face, and back of head but no rash. The back pain was next to unbearable. All the symptoms have pretty much subsided after 4 days off of it. Never again for me."

Fluticasone nasal for Nasal Polyps "I just turned 23, and I was given Xhance for nasal polyps that made breathing through my nose very hard and took away my sense of smell. It worked well for me in the beginning with minimal side effects. I gained my smell back, and I could breathe through my nose again after about a month of using it, so then I stopped using it because I got comfortable with the results. I went back to using it a month and a half later once my smell started to slowly fade again, and I started getting blurred vision that made me very uncomfortable. I’ve never had vision problems, always 20/20. Now I am hesitant to use Xhance again because of this. Not sure what to do. Hope this review helps someone."

Fluticasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "Since childhood, I've had intense seasonal allergies. They get so bad that my throat itches terribly, my nose runs profusely, then it clogs up completely. Worst of all is how bad my eyes get red and tear up and itch and hurt all the time. It's a nightmare allergy-wise living in South Texas because of the cedar pollen. I did some research and saw that Flonase is a type of cortical steroid, so I bought some. Kenalog 40 shots have always been my savior, but since I lost my insurance, I'm stuck with OTC. Tried Flonase as per the instructions. Within days, every allergy symptom but my itchy red and runny eyes went away. I waited two weeks, but no relief for my eyes. After doubling the dosage, my eyes cleared up, and now I'm allergy-free. Flonase rocks!"

Fluticasone nasal for Rhinitis "Have used Flonase for the last year - I used to have to take a decongestant that still left me stuffy, and Flonase alone is the best! I would be so stuffy at night, couldn't breathe through my nose, and this works! Love it."

Fluticasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "Flonase has greatly improved my life! My nasal allergies were terrible, even with taking an Allegra every day. I had to carry Kleenex with me everywhere. Mornings were the worst - I would sit with my coffee in one hand and a tissue in the other. It was miserable. After becoming tired of feeling awful every day, I paid a visit to the allergist, who prescribed Flonase. Within a week, I was feeling 100% better. No more itchy, runny nose. No more post-nasal drip. I used to get a constant tickle in my throat, which I never believed was caused by post-nasal drip, but evidently it was, because that is also gone! I love this."

Fluticasone nasal for Rhinitis "Flonase is the best! I suffered from horrible nighttime congestion. This medicine is a miracle. No more waking up all night unable to breathe with a horrible headache and feeling like a zombie for half the day! No side effects at all for me. Only downside is the expense without insurance. Wish they had a cheap generic version."

Fluticasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "I have experienced outdoor/seasonal allergies all my life in fluctuating intensities. Sometimes I can go without meds, and then suddenly I'm so sneezy, itchy, watery, runny, and congested that I can hardly function. It's like a never-ending flu! So, I bought Flonase, fully aware that the relief wouldn't be instant. It took a day or two (literally), and I immediately had absolutely no congestion. I admit that I still sneeze and get a slight runny nose now and then, but it was bearable compared to a Flonase-less reaction to pollen. The main con that I have a problem with is that I've been using Flonase for over a month, and I have experienced absolutely no relief for my dry, itchy (sometimes watery) eyes! Pros: my other symptoms are gone."

Fluticasone nasal for Rhinitis "I was getting nasal infections every 3 months that would last for weeks without treatment. I'd go in and get antibiotics, and within a week, it'd clear up. Then another 3 months later, I'd get another infection. UNTIL I started using this spray! As long as I continue to use it, I don't get nose infections. And it smells like flowers, which I like. :)"

Fluticasone nasal for Nasal Polyps "For years, I have suffered from allergies and terrible swelling of sinus passages. I have tried countless other sprays, every allergy tablet on the market. My allergy specialist prescribed this, and it works. This has been a game changer. We are talking quality of life changing!!!"

Fluticasone nasal for Rhinitis "I have vasomotor rhinitis, and this is the best drug for me. When I'm off of it for a few days, I can feel my nasal passages swelling, and I get an awful headache. Before being on this, I took decongestants/antihistamines, and I still had postnasal drip and stuffiness and a lot of headaches. With this drug, I feel like a normal person most of the time. The only downside is that I get more thirsty than normal, but I just constantly carry water with me."

Fluticasone nasal for Chronic Rhinosinusitis With Nasal Polyps "After seeing 2 allergists and 3 ENTs, and trying lots of various treatments, I finally got this medication, which greatly helped my nose. I went from 5 years of totally congested and drippy nose to being able to breathe through my nose (and sleep better, not choke while eating, no more mountains of tissues everywhere). However, the smell and taste I'd lost never did return, and probably the underlying problem is still there. But this lets me live a semi-normal life. I find it super easy to use, much easier than regular nose sprays. My first bottle was free, then with insurance, it was $50/month and ships to my door. No noticeable side effects, though recently my eyes have started feeling dry and some pains, but I don't know if that is related to this medication or something else (COVID? other meds? At times I also still use Azelastine nose spray for flare-ups.) But I LOVE Xhance and am so happy a doctor prescribed it and took me out of years of misery."

Fluticasone nasal for Rhinitis "I just bought this spray for the first time yesterday, and it's already working! Allegra NEVER helped with any of my symptoms (runny, itchy, stuffy nose, itchy watery eyes, and sneezing). It doesn't burn either, like Rx sprays I've used in the past that cost $100. This was only $18.00 at Safeway for the 120 spray dose (0.54 oz). Yes, it does smell like the light scent of flowers in your nose, but it doesn't sting or burn! Yaaaay! Thank you, Flonase, I love you!"
