Fluticasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "Don't take this drug. I had horrible anxiety, paranoia-like thoughts, heart palpitations, insomnia, my body was shaking and nightmares, as well as being tired. Also, I had nausea, dry mouth, and sore throat. It did help with a stuffy nose. I took Flonase on and off for several months. It took me a while to figure out why I was feeling so horrible and why I could not sleep. It might take weeks to feel completely better. When I stopped taking it the first time, it took about 3 weeks. Then I took it again and then I realized Flonase was causing my symptoms. The anxiety is not listed as a side effect, but in my case, it was Flonase that caused it."

Fluticasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "I took Flonase for a few days in a row, and it has now been 3 months since I’ve been off of it, and I am still struggling. It has turned my life upside down. I’ve had anxiety, depression, weird debilitating headaches, strange skin sensations, neurological problems such as tremors, vibrations, severe burning skin all over, hot flashes, cold chills, weakness, dizziness, nausea, numbness, tingling, blurred vision, and uncoordinated movements. This all started when I took Flonase several days in a row. In the past, I had taken it about once a month, so I didn’t notice the side effects as badly. The anxiety and depression have eased up a lot, and the headaches are a little less frequent. The burning feeling is still terrible. I still get very weak, and the skin sensations are still there. It feels like I’m swollen all over, even though there’s no visible swelling. Warn everyone you know about this."

Fluticasone nasal for Rhinitis "I have been a long-term user until recently. At first, Flonase worked like it should. Until recently, being diabetic as well, I started becoming very tired and nauseated. After using it at night, trouble breathing, wheezing, and, worst of all, oral thrush started. Since then, my doctor stopped the medication due to serious side effects. My system straightened up within a couple of days after stopping, and I feel a lot better than ever."

Fluticasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "I took it for a little over a week. I thought it may need a week for it to set in. It didn't stop my allergies at all, in fact, it worsened shortly after use. I had light nausea and heavy migraines shortly after taking it every day. I stopped taking it because it was ineffective and due to the side effects. I've had allergies for almost a year. I'm going to try something else (Alavert). Claritin, Allegra, Flonase, Equate, Zyrtec, Benadryl, and Nasonex have all failed me so far."

Fluticasone nasal for Rhinitis "Took a week to fully unplug my nose. After a month of use with 1x a day of one spray per nostril, I lost my sense of smell. I am now on day 3 of not taking it, feel pretty tired, not feeling well. Hoping those feelings will pass and I get my sense of smell back. Currently, my nose is still unplugged. If it weren’t for the smell thing, I’d give this a perfect 10 for clearing a stuffed-up nose."

For Rhinitis "I do not like this fluticasone nasal spray at all. The first time I used this at 5 pm, I began to feel dizzy and nauseous, this was gone the next morning. Day 2, I used it at 5 pm. Approximately 30 minutes after my dose, I started feeling lightheaded and a strange rushing feeling inside my body. I also had nerve twitches on my left cheek. Today, day 3, the rushing feeling was subsiding until about 30 minutes after I used it again at 5 pm. It's awful! I'm never using this again, especially seeing my nasal congestion has not improved at all."

For Rhinitis "Been using since 15th May, initially with good results. Finding anxiety increased and breathing difficult sometimes. Some nights sleep ok, others only a few hours as nose congested. Dosage is 1 spray each nostril once per day. Lost weight as nausea causing me to eat less. Feel the cold more, keep tensing up. Insomnia is the worst."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I'm allergic to dust and a couple more things. My doctor prescribed this drug to me, which is a steroid. It didn't help me at all. It dried my nose, and I couldn't breathe. The side effects were horrible. I had horrible headaches, nausea, insomnia, and body aches. I will never use this product again. I will break it into pieces!"

For Allergic Rhinitis "Holy side effects!!! Caused me dizziness, nausea, sinus and ear pain. Saw someone else complain about it causing cataracts at 37 and severe anxiety! Went to the hospital earlier today, I was so scared about the way I felt!!"

Fluticasone nasal for Allergic Rhinitis "Don’t take Flonase if you have anxiety or are sensitive to steroids. I took it for a few weeks and ended up in the ER 4 times! Racing heart, terrible anxiety, nausea, vomiting, severe mood swings and agitation. None of the doctors believed me when I said it was Flonase until they discovered I had Cushing’s Syndrome!! Now I’m having to wait weeks for the steroid to get out of my system! Just awful!"
