For Hot Flashes "As someone who has had chronic hot flashes for several years, usually prefaced by a wave of nausea, going on Veozah was great the first month. I still had minor hot flashes, but nothing like before, and the nausea was gone. Started my second month, and suddenly I have nausea and dizziness on and off all day. I'm going to stop taking the medicine and see what happens. I would also recommend if others have this to get their liver enzymes checked."

For Hot Flashes "My doctor suggested I try Veozah for 4 weeks and assess how I was feeling. It was not until 2 months in that I noticed nausea and upper stomach cramps. Some days it does not bother me, but other days it does. My flashes are bad and have been since I gave birth 29 years ago. My cycle stopped 3 years ago at 55, and the flashes got worse (if that's possible). Not sure if I should just wait it out to see if the nausea and sporadic stomach pain stop. Wish me luck during these 100 plus degree summer days."

For Hot Flashes "I have been taking Veozah for a month now. I love how I don’t have hot flashes, but the nausea every day is driving me crazy. All I eat is saltines and drink ginger ale. Therefore, I will have to stop taking the medication, but I hope it does continue to help others."

For Hot Flashes "I cannot have HRT due to cancer genes. So when my doctor offered Veozah, I opted for it. I was a little concerned about it causing worsening mental health since it works on the brain. I was correct to be concerned. My depression is back. I've been on Veozah for almost four weeks. The first few weeks of severe dizziness and nausea almost made me quit. The dizziness was so surreal, I cannot drive my car anywhere with roads that twist and turn without vomiting. I am still having night sweats somewhat. It has helped them not be as awful or frequent, but I'm still having them. During the first few weeks, I actually started sweating even worse. That was miserable. My doc demanded I continue and ride it out. The back pain has hit too. I've also noticed I am freezing often now. I worry about what this med might really be doing to our bodies. If this sweating and dizziness with nausea keep up, I will discontinue it. We do not have long-term safety studies."

For Hot Flashes "Taking Veozah for more than a year. Before, I had 10-12 hot flashes during the day (almost every hour), but luckily not at night (unless something woke me up, then I would have one as soon as I woke up). Flashes also included nausea. Once I started taking Veozah, they almost immediately went away for long stretches of the day. After about 8 hours, I would start to get hot flashes again, not quite as intense, but still very uncomfortable. I wish I could try taking half a dose twice a day instead of one in the morning, but the indications definitely say to NOT do that. Overall, it has definitely been life-changing - I can now get through a workday or special occasion without worrying about having an episode! I have no noticeable side effects, but it doesn’t help with other menopausal symptoms (like vaginal dryness). So while it’s been a great quality of life enhancement, I am going to try HRT to see if I can get an overall better result."

For Hot Flashes "Took Veozah for 2 days, and I was sent to the hospital for vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, abdominal pain, feeling hot and cold, and nausea. Won't take it again."

For Hot Flashes "So far, so fantastic! I've been on Veozah for about 6 months, and it is a LIFE SAVER! I was having 10-20 hot flashes a day and night. I couldn't sleep without ice packs. I couldn't get through a meeting without stripping off clothing (thank goodness for Zoom meetings ;-)). I started taking Veozah and within days, I was at 70% fewer hot flashes, and now, 6 months in, I'm down to a few 'warm' flashes a day. I might have nausea, but I also have IBS so can't tell if it is Veozah related or IBS related. Bottom line, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this drug!"
