For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I'm not sure what's causing the abnormal bleeding, but I've been on my period for 20 days. Stopped the period one day and now bleeding again, this has never happened to me before when using any other birth control."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I just started these pills last month. I had a period for 5 days, and then 2 days later, I experienced heavy bleeding. This pill has been causing me to feel nauseated and having severe stomach pains. I do not recommend this prescription to anyone."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "My insurance company just switched me from Ortho Tri-Cyclen to Tri-Previfem. This is my second month on it. My period usually lasted for 3 days also. This time it's been 5 days. And in the past 2 days, I've had a lot of bleeding. I've gone through over 10 pads already today. I will stop taking it and try to go back to Ortho Tri-Cyclen. I'd been on Ortho Tri-Cyclen for many years and never had any side effect."

For Acne "I've only been on this for two weeks, and my acne is a million times worse. I'm so embarrassed to go in public because it's never been this bad before. Is it normal for it to make it worse before better? I also have not stopped bleeding since I had my period. What is going on?"

For Birth Control "I am on Tri-Previfem, and it's been about 7 weeks, and I've already consulted with my doctor to change birth control. Overall, my experience on Tri-Previfem was awful. I bled the entire first month, and now, on my second month, it's causing me to have painful intercourse."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I thought I was losing it until I read these reviews. The first couple of weeks on this were okay, then I have been spotting... which leads to heavy bleeding... to light bleeding... but now this has been going on for 3 weeks. I thought it was finally ending, and today I had heavy bleeding at work. Through my super plus tampon and all over my dress. Yep, awful. My doctor told me it may take 3 months to adjust. I'm beyond miserable. This pill sucks."

For Birth Control "I really hate this birth control. I have taken others and had no side effects or anything go wrong, but this pill has basically ruined my social life. I have been taking it for a little over a month, and since the second I started taking it, I have had my period. I have no sex drive and constant bleeding. I have noticed I'm super moody, and for the first week, it made me sick to my stomach, and I stopped eating because of how it made me feel. I hate this pill, but my doctor makes it difficult to switch."

For Birth Control "I've taken this pill for two weeks now, and I've had a constant migraine. I just had a baby three months ago, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. Also had very heavy bleeding for a week, then it would stop and start again. Also, I'm very moody and sad, where I wasn't before I started taking this medicine. If I still have migraines at the end of this pack, I may switch."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "The first 2 months were okay until now... I usually bleed for 5 days and then spot for 2... I have been bleeding for almost 3 weeks now, and I am bleeding more than I ever have before... I feel really sick and have been really tired... My anxiety has gotten worse, and looking at food makes me want to throw up... I'm sick of this pill and do not recommend it...!"

For Birth Control "I took this birth control, Tri-Previfem, for 8 years. I just got switched today after talking to my OB/GYN and realizing that it was causing anxiety, depression, low sex drive, headaches, and extreme mood swings the week before my period. I thought it was all normal or just me, but she said it was the medicine. I have now been switched to Mili. It did regulate my periods, but I would have 7-9 days of fairly heavy bleeding each month, which is not supposed to be a thing. Very effective in preventing pregnancies, as I have not been pregnant while taking it."

For Birth Control "The first month of this pill, I had breakthrough bleeding basically the whole month. I also had this terrible stomach feeling. The second month, I had no bleeding and no weird stomach feelings. I just switched off to a lower dose pill due to my breasts growing 2 sizes and being extremely swollen (I was already a D, I didn't want them any bigger!) and also I lost my sex drive completely. Happy to have had no emotional changes at all (in fact, I felt happier). Overall, this pill wasn't as terrible as all the reviews I've read made it out to be, but everyone is different."

For Birth Control "This has been the worst pill ever. I have been bleeding for 13 days, and it has not stopped yet. I had to go to my OB-GYN for evaluation and was told to stop taking them right away. I start my new pill, Tri-Sprintec, next. I have taken that for seven years and never had a problem with it. The only reason it got switched is because the pharmacy told me it was the generic."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I've been on Previfem for 3 months, and I am still experiencing breakthrough bleeding that lasts until my withdrawal bleed. I take the pill at 6:15 every morning and have never been off by more than 15 minutes. The only positives are that my breakthrough bleeding occurs like clockwork (after 12 active pills), and it made my skin better. But the bleeding itself drains the life out of me and makes me really depressed. I gained 7 pounds on the pill, but I think I had a hormone imbalance that made me lose weight before that. I had lost 10 pounds while eating everything in sight before that, and I had a period that faded into light spotting but would not stop for almost 2 months (only stopped because of the pill). I am switching pills next month."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Been taking this birth control pill for about 3 years now. I had no problems or side effects until about 6 months ago. I started having breakthrough bleeding once a month, every month. It was so annoying. I am starting a new pack next month, Apri."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I am 30, have been on this birth control since I was 22. I LOVE this birth control. When I first had to get on birth control, I went through three or four before I found this one that finally worked for me. Mood-wise, I feel completely level, and I have never gained weight, never had an oops pregnancy, and never had acne on this pill. I will say that I started having breakthrough bleeding and some out-of-the-ordinary acne over the past year, but my gyno said that's just because I have been on it so long that it's time to phase out for a new one. I am super sad to let this one go, but if your doctor recommends, it is definitely worth a try."

For Birth Control "After years on Ortho, they forced me to switch when my insurance no longer covered it. My skin broke out, I gained 10 lbs, my libido was non-existent, I sweat constantly, and between migraines... which lasted for 2.5 out of 3 weeks I was on the pill... I had depression and breakthrough bleeding. Not something I would recommend."

For Birth Control "After I had my first son, I went with an IUD and had Mirena for 5 years. As skeptical as I was about it, it actually never gave me any trouble at all. After that was removed, I dated a man for a year that had a vasectomy. After we broke up, I had to go back to birth control. I tried this one first, and it was horrible. It worked great until I had my first period on it, which lasted almost 6 weeks! I couldn’t believe it! I stopped taking it because I bled for so long, and I even now am awaiting test results out of pure curiosity with the way this pill affected my body! This medication is horrible, and I would not recommend."

For Birth Control "I am currently taking the last of my second pack, and I feel like my sex drive has been lost. I'm not sure if it's this particular brand or not, but ever since I started taking it, I have felt no desire for sex. I am soon going to consult with my doctor to switch. Also, it gives you your period for a week, which I do not like. Had pretty heavy bleeding my first period, guessing I'll have the same with my next cycle. It works differently on everyone, but for me, it doesn't seem to be the right choice."
