Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "This birth control for me has only really done me a few favors, and that’s being free and not getting me pregnant. However, that being said, the side effects I can’t justify. I recently turned 18 and started taking the pill. My first month was fine, but the more I take it, the worse I’m getting. I’m having constant anxiety and panic attacks. I always feel extremely worried, stressed, and overwhelmed. I’m very irritable and impatient, not to mention it gives me horrendous headaches and recently extreme nausea and vomiting. Not to get into too much detail, but just absolutely projectile vomiting everywhere. Feeling very feverish, hot, and cold sweats, not to mention for period cramps, it does nothing. My cramps feel just as bad as they were before, and my period is just as heavy and maybe even a little longer. My sex drive has definitely decreased, and sex is painful, I nearly bleed a little each time. It’s causing me to go crazy, and I have trouble even sleeping with some of the symptoms."

Femynor (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I’m on the 2nd month of taking Femynor. I had nausea and headaches the first 4 days of taking it. I’d take it at 11 PM, but I’d wake up nauseous in the middle of the night. But it wasn’t bad to the point of throwing up. I will say I felt more affected emotionally. During the 3rd week, my emotions felt all over the place. I have a history of anxiety, and it did aggravate it. I cried for no reason, felt more anxious than usual, and some paranoia. This lasted about a week. During the last week of taking the sugar pills, I did not get a period. I only had very light spotting for 2 days. This is a big pro for me. No PMS or cramping at all. Yes, it was rough the first few weeks, but the side effects have worn off after the 1st month. This birth control is also inexpensive for me, I pay $8 monthly. Don’t let the reviews scare you, give it a try. It takes some time for your body to adjust. I hope it works for you, I will update at the end of month 2."

Tri-Lo-Mili (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "Tri-Lo-Mili is the WORST THING YOU WILL EVER TAKE. I miss my old self this pill has made me lash out on loved ones, depressed, emotional, anxious, the list goes on. It made me completely dry down there and it made me break out into a rash. I have been itching all over my body for a month now. I’ve been on the pill for the two months and I tried to stick it out and see if the symptoms would go away, but no. I will be getting off this immediately. First time on birth control and the last time."

Estarylla (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "Like many of the other ladies I was on Femynor and my pharmacy switched me to this because they were out. I noticed the change almost immediately by day 4 I threw the pack away. My husband noticed that I was easily angered, was crying for everything and seemed depressed. I had tried them about 2 years ago and had the same problem. Every body is different but I'm sharing my experience because the pharmacist made it seem as if I was crazy. You know your body!"

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I have had a great experience with Sprintec, actually. I have been using this for about a year and have not felt the side effects I used to feel with other birth control pills. My mood is pretty regulated, I never got sore breasts, my appetite was normal throughout, and I have not felt nauseous once. I haven't gotten pregnant either, so I will continue use for as long as it's available and working in harmony with my body. 10/10."

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "Got on Sprintec in 2018, and it was great for 6 months. My breast got bigger, I am a C cup, and I went into double D’s. But I got tired of the periods once a month, so I went and got an IUD (Liletta). My cup size went back to normal, had the IUD for 6 months, and got it removed because it felt weird not having a period. I just felt off without it. Now I’m back on Sprintec, and I’m having the same thing occur with my breasts. I enjoy having the bigger boobs, it’s just the soreness on the sides that comes with it. I did feel nausea every single day. Sprintec is a really good birth control, you don’t get pregnant, and you’re basically in control of it. Everyone’s body is completely different, so just because you read one review that gives a negative saying shows how it reacted to their bodies. Go talk to your doctor or nurse about it before choosing. It took me about 4 months to decide and do my research before I decided on getting something long-term until I’m ready to have kids."

Estarylla (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "Honestly, I really enjoy this pill. When I first read the reviews, I was terrified, but I still went through with taking this pill for the first few months. In the first month, I found myself getting slightly nauseous every time I took the pill and that I was getting moodier. But after the first few weeks, everything balanced out, and I'm completely fine. I'm sexually active, and my partner and I have unprotected sex regularly. No baby here! I'm currently on my fourth month taking it, and I feel fine. I've had no significant changes in acne (actually, I think it's improved my skin), my weight has stayed the same, my mood is under control, and my libido is the same as it's always been. Just wanted to leave a good review here for Estarylla."

Ortho Tri-Cyclen (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "The positive I had on this medication was having great, clear skin. But the negatives very heavily outweigh the positives. I've been on this for a month and a half and already have to stop taking it. I get constant headaches, my mood swings are off the wall (affecting my boyfriend and I's relationship), nausea, difficulty concentrating, irrational thoughts, and depression. Switching off of this immediately. If you are prone to depression, DO NOT take this pill!"

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "This is a great birth control and also has a couple of bad side effects. I possibly have arthritis in my knee, I only noticed shortly after starting this pill. I'm going to the doctor in a couple of days to find out what is actually wrong, so this pill might not have anything to do with it. The worst side effect is I cry and get upset almost every day. I have extreme mood swings, however, my body and face are beautiful and better than ever. My sex drive is pretty high and great for me. My breasts look fantastic, they have grown at least 1 cup size. I don't think I've had weight gain. I have a small flat belly and have only gained weight in the parts a girl would want. My boyfriend loves my body more than ever!"

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "As of today, I have just started my first placebo pill in my first month of Tri-Sprintec. For the first week or two, I noticed increased nausea and breast tenderness, the nausea subsided, but the breast tenderness still lingers (just not as bad). I got on this birth control in June to prevent pregnancy, so far, for the whole preventing pregnancy, it's wonderful. Periods come right on time, and I had no clue of her arrival (no cramps, moodiness, etc.), which I love! Since I've been on it, the past month I have actually lost 16 pounds, and I am quite alright with that. I have decreased appetite, which is also a good thing because before I started birth control, I would eat every chance I got. Overall, this pill is great! You just have to try it out for you!"

TriNessa (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "The pill started great until every time I take it I want to vomit all the time. Practically, had the experience of a pregnant woman. I gained weight, was expected, and had terrible headaches that don't go away for hours. Impossible to sleep without wanting to vomit. I've been having emotional problems, feeling depressed and crying without reason."

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "This pill worked perfectly for me for the first month. Now it’s nothing but bleeding constantly, and I’ve been on it for about 6 months. So basically, 5 months of bleeding because of this pill and blood during intercourse when I get a day break from the bleeding. DO NOT RECOMMEND!"

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I've been on the pill for about a year now since I switched from the Depo shot. At first, it was giving me headaches, so I started to take it right before bed. My face has cleared up a lot with the occasional zit around my period. Periods have become lighter with less cramps, and my breasts have gotten fuller. The only thing that I have noticed is my sex drive isn't what it used to be, but it could just be me."

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Ovarian Cysts "So I've been reading other reviews for this, and I really think that people should wait until after the first month to decide if this is a horrible birth control because OF COURSE we're going to have the bad side effects the first few weeks! Our bodies are adapting to a new drug so just be patient! The first three weeks I had nausea, mild mood swings, loss of appetite, and EXTREMELY sore and swollen breasts. Since then I've been side effect-free. I've been on it for three months now, and I have to say it's amazing! I take it for PCOS, and because of my PCOS, I would be having periods every 6 months, and they would be KILLER! I would literally be in bed for days, but with this birth control, I have mild, short periods. It's fantastic. I definitely recommend it."

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I used Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, the brand, for 2 years. It’s all I’ve ever used. I am 29 years old now, and I am so devastated that Jansen has discontinued this because it was too expensive to manufacture, which means they weren’t making as much money as they wanted. But for me, it is the best birth control pill out there! No weight gain, no breakthrough bleeding or mood swings, no pregnancy, and I’ve never used any backup birth control or condoms - just the pill. I don’t even know where to go now or what to use instead. Please bring back this birth control pill!! It’s been so amazing. I was even willing to pay the $150 per month to get it out of pocket because I don’t want to risk crazy side effects of any other birth controls."

Tri-Lo-Mili (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "So far I've had it for 3 1/2 months. I truthfully have found it very nice. I haven't gained any weight, have a normal appetite, and my acne has slowly but healthily improved. I do keep a good diet and consistently exercise. I am highly sexually active and don't use condoms. My partner pulls out so I haven't had any problems. I'm still a little scared for them to finish while inside so I can't add my input on that. My mood hasn't drastically changed, however, my first period since starting it lasted 10 days, when normally it's only 6 days. At my 3-month mark, I've gone down to 8 days, but hopefully, it continues to go down each period until it returns to its normal length. My period is very heavy the first few days but overnight will switch to very light, which is kinda odd. Overall, I recommend it for people who are scared of weight gain and want it to get rid of cramps and acne!"

Tri-Estarylla (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I've been on the Tri-Estarylla birth control for about 6 years now, and it has helped with my ovarian cysts, acne (paired with spironolactone), and the heaviness of my periods. The only downfall is that the level of hormones fluctuates week to week, so I do experience PMS, fatigue, period acne, and whatever else comes with a regular period. I’m so consistent taking it, I literally have always had unprotected sex, ejaculated in, and never been pregnant or had a scare. My body is so sensitive, and this works great! Also, I’m 21, so this has worked well for my teenage years."

Femynor (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "When I first started taking this Femynor birth control pill I was nauseous every night, I had the worst cystic acne on my cheeks and chin, and my periods were super heavy and long. I’m now on the 5 month mark of taking this pill and I’ve lost 15 pounds, my skin is clear and I don’t feel nauseous anymore. My periods are heavy the first two days and after that they are super light and only last 5 days. I also never have spotting between periods. The key is to stay patient when taking this pill! The side effects were awful at first and I wanted to stop taking it but I’m glad I pushed through because out of the many birth control pills I’ve taken this has to be the best one."

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I have been on Sprintec for about 3-4 years. Overall, there's definitely pros & cons for me personally. I was young when I started taking it, and it helped so much with cystic acne. It's done what it's supposed to as far as preventing pregnancy. BUT as I've gotten older and the longer I've taken it, I feel like I'm dealing with PMS or even PMDD (a more severe form of PMS) for more than half the month. It's terrible... The mood swings are terrible, weight change, fluid retention, acne (not cystic, but acne and dryness of skin), prone to yeast infections after periods, terrible fatigue, and I feel depressed and angry. All this with caring well for my health and my skin. Keep in mind this is my personal experience up to date!"

Mili (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "My Pharmacy ran out of Sprintec so I tried Mili. The first two days I had cramps felt like some food poisoning. I felt weak & non motivated. couldn’t even wear my contacts & I kept drinking water. The worst was the migraines on day 5 &6.. I started breaking out (my skin never does). I started getting strange hot flashes and also chills. I even started sneezing and I’m someone who never sneezes. I started to wonder why I was so bloated. I knew it was the medication after 6 days. The sixth day was the worst : the headache wouldn’t subside. I cleared my throat over 40 times last few days. I felt like I couldn’t even speak bc the headache was so bad like pounding on the sides of my Head."

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I love this birth control. I've been on it for almost five months. I've been on two other pills before. They made me have severe mood swings and horrible depression, so my doctor put me on this one. I love it. My breasts have gotten bigger as well, which is a HUGE plus for me. Also, the only thing I use is these pills, no condoms or anything else, and I have a very active sex life, and I haven't gotten pregnant, so it is doing a great job. It has given me a higher sex drive too. I have two problems with it, but the pros outweigh the negatives. Firstly, I get nausea when I start a new pack. It usually lasts 3-4 days. It also gives me heavy periods. Though, they only last 3-4 days."

Ortho Tri-Cyclen (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I started taking birth control pills a few years ago, but after trying 5 or 6 different ones, I started taking OTC. This is the ONLY pill I have tried that does not make me bleed through half the pack, clears up my acne to an extent, does not affect my mood, and makes my cramps basically nonexistent. It is a miracle pill for me. I think because it has varying amounts of hormones each week that mimic your own cycle, it works better for many women. I have not experienced any difference in my weight, I've started working out since I began taking this pill and have lost a little weight. The thing I am happiest about, though, is that I do not have breakthrough bleeding."

Estarylla (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I was scared to try this after reading the comments here but this is what my gyno prescribed me and I trusted her recommendation. I took this everyday as prescribed and I didn't have a problem. I haven't gotten pregnant so it works. I do feel like my sex drive is lower but its been on the decline since before I got on the pill so I’m not sure if I can blame it on that. I didn’t experience mood swings like others have shared. One thing to note is that I have gained a significant amount of weight- I tend to go up and down in weight (I've always struggled with this) so again not sure if I can blame that on the pill. Overall I would recommend it because I haven't gotten pregnant and i didn't experience negative side effects."

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Pretty great. I have PCOS and my bleeding that could last anywhere from 2 days to 50 days. Turns out I had really high testosterone and not enough estrogen. On Sprintec, I'm at a normal 7-day period, which is a significant upgrade. No visible side effects at all except gradual weight loss. Yeah weight loss! I'm the Sprintec user everyone's jealous of. No idea how effective it is at preventing pregnancy. Haven't tried it."

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "Every birth control pill will react differently to each of our bodies ! The best thing to do is to just try it out and stop taking them if we see changes we don’t like. I personally LOVE this brand. My experience is awesome ! I was never regular so it has helped me get my period every month. My mood swings are normal but I feel more energetic, I lost weight and I feel better than ever! Sex being involved, we all know that nothing is 100 percent accurate but I had unprotected sex with my partner over a year and I’ve had no surprises thankfully. Continue the routine with a pill and see if you could either love it or hate it! Glad to give another opinion and make the best decision that suits your body(:"
