For Birth Control "I never in my life had a negative experience from a birth control pill until I switched to Junel Fe. I was extremely irritable to both my husband and my two-year-old. I lost crazy amounts of hair. My hunger skyrocketed, and I would raid the fridge as soon as I got home from work. I was angry all the time on this pill. The only plus to this pill is that I did not have acne breakouts, my skin was clear. But the amount of anxiety and irritability that comes with this pill is not worth it. It took me a while to figure out what was causing all these horrible side effects because I never experienced side effects like this. It was so bad that I fear trying another pill."

For Birth Control "Junel 1.5/30 is the second birth control brand that I’ve taken. I switched to it because I had a constant period for 2 months on the last brand. I’m just now finishing my 3rd pack of Junel and was shocked to see all of the bad reviews. Since I’ve only been on birth control for 6 months, I didn’t notice big changes until now. I have naturally thick hair and I have noticed that I have been losing a lot more than usual. I can run my fingers through my hair and several strands will come out. My skin is pretty clear for the most part, just a few pimples here and there but nothing major. My boobs haven’t gotten any bigger sadly lol or I haven’t gained much weight. In the day, I have no appetite but am starving before bed. Sometimes I can only eat a few bites and then I feel sick. Also, I am more irritable and stressed, but that could be due to other problems. I don’t think I’ve been on it long enough to notice major changes, but this is my experience so far."

For Birth Control "This was easily the worst medication I have ever been on, no competition at all. I know birth control is trial and error, but holy moly. I tried Junel Fe 1.5/30 for 3 months and I wish I could get them back. Not only did my boobs hurt 24/7 for the entire duration of it, but I was stressed over everything the entire time. Truly the worst part about it though was that I lost so much hair and gained 5 pounds. The only benefit is that I never had a child, so seeing that this is the purpose of the medication, I'll give it a 3 rating haha."
