For Birth Control "The first week of taking the pill, I felt very nauseous. By the second week, I was extremely moody. I'm towards the end of my third week, and so far so good. I don't have any more nausea or moody swings. I feel like my sex drive has stayed the same. Although there is a problem, I don't know if it's the pills or my period, but I noticed I have broken out a little more than usual. I'm hoping this will go away after starting my second pack."

For Birth Control "I was on Levora for 2 months, and when I started taking it, my period was a month late, but I had some breakthrough bleeding. I would also get nauseous late at night. I did break out just a bit, and my sex drive increased. I stopped for a while and started again, and have been on it for a month now. This time my sex drive is lower, and I tend to get dry during sex more often. I'm an emotional wreck. I'm depressed and have lots of anxiety. And I'm always angry or crying. And I'm always hungry and craving things. And my breasts are slightly sore. In the first couple of weeks, I gained weight, then in the last two, I lost weight. But both experiences were different. It does its job of preventing pregnancy, though."

For Birth Control "This is my first BC pill, and I'm highly upset. My cramps were ten times worse than when I wasn't on the pill. My period is so irregular. I also get paranoid because days after intimacy I get nauseous and side effects of pregnancy. Will be changing these as soon as possible."

For Birth Control "At first, I thought this pill was great for me, due to needing a 'stronger' birth control for breakthrough bleeding and whatnot with a previous pill. I noticed my periods were a lot shorter and lighter, and the breakthrough bleeding wasn't an issue anymore, which was great! Shortly after, I started experiencing terrible headaches and nausea, despite taking it with a meal. I would wake up in the morning and not be able to eat or do anything... I also started breaking out more frequently. Then I started noticing it affect my overall mood. I feel like I turned into this terrible, moody, and mean person! I didn't feel like myself while taking this pill. Everyone's body reacts differently to medication, my reaction to this pill was absolutely terrible."

For Birth Control "These pills made me moody, oversensitive. I've had depression problems before, but this just made them come back for no reason, mostly at night. It cost me a very dear relationship. My skin got greasy, mostly on my face and scalp. I gained a lot of weight I'm still trying to lose, made me feel nauseous, and it messed up my liver. I have nothing positive to say about it. My new OB/GYN told me to stop them ASAP, and I did in hopes of seeing the change and getting myself back. Do not take this crap."

For Birth Control "I started taking Levora two years ago. First off, my face was very clear (with one or two pimples here and there). Once I started taking Levora, my face and back became covered in extremely painful cystic acne caused by the high levels of hormones. I would always have at least 2-3 on my face, as well as getting 2 near my period. My breasts went from a 34 B to a whopping 36 D within a year of taking the pill. Even though I took the pill at night, I would wake up with morning sickness where I could not eat and everything would make me nauseous. Levora did not help with my periods, except made them 5 days instead of 7, but they were always heavy. I've been off Levora for about three months, and my acne is completely gone, and I'm much happier."

For Birth Control "The first night I took this pill, I thought I was going to die. I took it at 8 in the evening, then woke up at 2:30 AM with heart palpitations, an irregular pulse, nausea, shortness of breath, and feeling extremely weak. I’m done with this already."

For Birth Control "Did its job by not getting me pregnant, but I would definitely not recommend taking it. I was in and out of the hospital for 6 months with a weird, nauseating stomach ulcer, and the doctors never knew what was wrong. Every time they would dismiss me from the E.R., they would give me anti-nausea pills and antibiotics to 'control the pain and nausea,' not get rid of it. Recently, I stopped taking my Levora birth control, and I haven't had one stomach ulcer problem."

For Birth Control "Took this pill for about 8 months before contacting my provider to change birth controls. I have taken many birth control pills and do not usually have any major issues. The biggest issue I had with this pill was nausea. I took this pill before bedtime in hopes of lessening the nausea. I would still get nauseous at night before bed. I missed a pill one day and had to take 2 pills in one day. This resulted in me vomiting after the second pill was taken. This pill is not for me, but it may be okay for you."

For Birth Control "With this pill, I don't have issues of breakthrough bleeding or nausea as I had with others. This pill does decrease my sex drive, however."

For Birth Control "Does the job. Have been on it for just over a month. Some side effects, but nothing too crazy. Dealt with mood swings and nausea the first week or so, but went away. Sex drive remains high (lol, it's important). Only serious drawback is that I am craving food literally EVERY SINGLE minute. Went from 117 lb to 135 in just 4 weeks..... wtf. Oh. And my skin has gotten worse... I started getting acne around my forehead and upper lip. Hopefully the appetite and acne problem goes away as I get more used to the hormones."
