"Great birth control. I had very minimal side effects. Had some headaches at first, but they went away. I am a marathon runner, so I exercise all the time. Had zero weight gain (I’m naturally thin), and I’ve never had heavy periods to begin with, so my periods have been even lighter than before. Mostly brown spotting. I have taken Plan B in the past, as well as other brands of birth control, and I had horrible side effects such as nausea, mood swings, and feeling lightheaded. This birth control has been the best. I highly recommend it, and it does its job."

"I am having the absolute worst nausea of my life with this BC Kurvelo, blood clots, headaches, mood swings, you name it. The only minor upside (for small girls like myself) is bigger boobs haha-but that definitely doesn’t outweigh the cons."

"I have been on a couple of different brands of this birth control (levonorgestrel-ethinyl estradiol) for 4 years and Kurvelo specifically for about 1 year. When I first started on the pill, I had the usual nausea and weird periods/spotting, but that mostly went away within a couple of months. I now know exactly when my period will come and can even skip it if I want to, and it is lighter and shorter than before. (Much preferred over my natural cycle which lasted a week, every 3 weeks.) I also went up a cup size, but no other weight gain. I still sometimes get a little nauseous with the first pill of a pack, but I take it at night so it isn't a big deal. Unfortunately, I believe the pill has also caused vaginal dryness (never had an issue with that before and I am in my 20s), which has ironically caused some issues with sex, but using plenty of lube has basically resolved that. Overall, very glad I started taking this, and I don't plan on going off anytime soon."
