"I’ve been on this type of birth control for about 5 years for regular, heavy, frequent menstrual cycles. Through that time, my pharmacy has switched a few times, and I’ve taken all the names of this BC. Aviane, Delyla, Falmina, Aubra, they’re all the same drugs... same dose of hormones. Any hormone can make you have mood swings, especially if you have pre-existing conditions. This birth control is the lowest dose of hormones available in a combination pill, and that’s what I wanted. It’s worked amazingly for me. It’s regulated my periods, reduced the heavy flow, I have far fewer migraines than when I am not on BC, and I have less cystic acne. My seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp is even better due to the reduced oil production. This dose of hormones works amazingly well for being such a low dose."
