For Birth Control "I've been on this birth control for 7 months. It’s effective to prevent pregnancy, I didn’t have any issues for the first 3 months. I did experience hair loss. In the 5th month, I started to not feel like myself-very sad and depressed. No sexual drive at all. My mind was somewhere else all the time. I really tried to give it a chance, but I can’t take it anymore. I hated feeling sad every day. Give it a try, and if it’s not for you, make the switch right away. Good luck."

For Birth Control "I think it is safe to say these pills ruined my relationship with my partner due to my constant outbursts and mood swings. It also deteriorated my self-esteem. I had constant breakouts and crippling anxiety. No fun. Absolutely no sex drive. I took these pills for 7 months and switched to the NuvaRing after my breakup because the pills made everything ten times harder after. I took these pills at the beginning of my relationship. RIP my relationship, lol. I didn’t get pregnant, but god, that was horrible."

For Birth Control "On Aubra EQ, I have had extreme food aversions, extreme mood swings, crippling depression, and painful cystic acne, which I NEVER had in my life before. I also never had cramps during my period, and I was never a heavy bleeder, but this pill made my periods awful, it was excessive and extreme. I took this for 8 months, and it has taken a toll on me and my relationship. I also have 0 sex drive, and I used to enjoy sex before, but while using this pill, I’m so disgusted with the idea of it."

For Birth Control "This is going to be my third month using the pill. Honestly, I feel no drastic change other than the fact that my sex drive has gone down. This can be due to the pill but also because I’m constantly busy with my life. I haven’t experienced severe mood swings, but when I get close to my period, I do have constant cravings. It has helped regulate my period. My boobs feel slightly bigger, but maybe because I also feel like I have gained a little bit of weight, nothing too noticeable though. Will come back here later (maybe after 6 months if I’m still using it) with an update. Other than that, the pill is great. Doesn’t affect my acne, only downer as I mentioned was my sex drive."

For Birth Control "I've been on Aubra EQ for three weeks now, and I hate it. First week, I had migraines every day, my boobs have been sore every day, and recently I've had terrible pain in my left boob. I have weird pelvic pain, usually on the left side. I'm moody and feel depressed. I've been breaking out a little more than usual, which is odd because I have clear skin a majority of the time. My sex drive has gone down a lot. Terrible."

For Birth Control "I took Aubra EQ for a year after Planned Parenthood had changed it from the regular Aubra. It changed my mood dramatically for the first two months, and slowly it became better, but I was still sad for a lot of the time. I gained a few pounds. I also had a lower sex drive compared to when I was taking the other pill. I didn't want to be touched, and TMI, but I was dry there a lot of the time. But I didn't get acne, and I'm not pregnant."

For Birth Control "I was on Aubra EQ for about 2 years while I didn't have a primary care doctor and relied on Planned Parenthood. They switched me from Alesse 28, which was great, and said that Aubra EQ was a comparable option, but I disagree. The first day I started taking it, I experienced significant anxiety to the point of tears, and I've noticed an overall increase in my anxiety and panic disorder since I've been on it. My libido has been way down, and combined with an increase in vaginal dryness, it hasn't been great for my sex life. The other major side effect is that it significantly increased my blood pressure to the point of being categorized as Stage 2 Hypertension. I now have a new doctor who has prescribed a lower-estrogen pill which I hope will work better. If you take this pill, be sure to get your blood pressure checked regularly and go see your doctor right away if it's high."

For Birth Control "I’ve actually had a really pleasant experience on this birth control. The only side effect I’ve experienced is an extremely low libido, which totally defeats the purpose of birth control. Otherwise, no other side effects."

For Birth Control "I’m going on my 5th month with Aubra EQ, and it’s the best birth control I’ve been on. It hasn’t affected libido or caused any crazy mood changes. It has regulated my periods and made them short, and I don’t have bad cramping like I used to. My skin cleared up, I also gym and drink lots of water. But I definitely recommend this for people that want to make the switch from other forms that are making them feel negative symptoms."

For Birth Control "I honestly have had a great time taking this birth control. I have been on Aubra EQ for almost two years now. I will say the ONLY thing that I don't like is that I have lost my sex drive. :( I wasn’t always the most active, but I had a much bigger drive before taking this pill. But my periods are regular, WAYYY less painful, and no spotting. Overall a 8.5/10 just because I have a loss of sex drive."

For Birth Control "I have been on Aubra EQ for one year. Definitely helped with keeping my periods regular and shorter. But I have headaches still and my sex drive is really low."

For Birth Control "Planned Parenthood also switched me to Aubra EQ, and I'm so sad about it. I LOVED Aubra. I had no symptoms whatsoever, and I felt like myself. I’ve been on Aubra EQ now for 2 months, and I literally have the WORST migraine every other day. I have no sex drive, and I always feel depressed. I don’t even feel like myself. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it."
