Epinephrine "This is the only inhaler over the counter that works. I've had severe asthma my whole life and I'm not covered by insurance to get the real thing so this is a blessing. Waking up having attacks is new to me now that I'm older and Primatene Mist is my go-to. It has a bad taste and yes, it makes you a bit jittery but IT WORKS..."

Epinephrine "Primatene Mist sucks these days. The medication is not as strong as it used to be 11 years ago. Even after taking a puff, I’m back to wheezing and shortness of breath again after 30 minutes. Also, this medication burns my esophagus. Rinse your mouth every time."

Epinephrine "Used Primatene Mist only 1 time, and I went into shock, body numb all over, could not breathe hardly. I went to the doctor that day and was told this inhaler never should have been sold over the counter. Epinephrine is too strong. He would never order this for patients. Lucky for me I had only taken 1 dose. However, it took me days to get all of this out of my system. I felt awful and weak for days. Never take anything over the counter for asthma or anything like that, see a doctor first."

Epinephrine "I have run out of albuterol, I thought I'd give this a go. Big mistake. Not only did it not help, but it caused an awful burning sensation in my airways. I will never use this again."

Epinephrine "I have used this for years, and it has provided much quick relief. It far surpassed other 'prescribed' asthma inhalers I have used."

Epinephrine "Only used the Primatene Mist thing twice. Both times made my symptoms worse, made my throat burn, and made me go into coughing fits. I don’t recommend this product at all."

Epinephrine "Bought the new Primatene Mist, not nearly as good as the old one. You waste half of it spraying it in the air. Just doesn't work for me. Don't waste your money."

Epinephrine "I used to take Primatene tablets many years ago, and it always worked. My asthma came back recently, so I went to what I knew. The mist really works for me."

Epinephrine "In the last few years, I have noticed that when I do a lot of physical work outside or am around a tremendous amount of grass clippings or dust, my breathing becomes labored. A few weeks ago, I was in a very dry, dusty, graveled parking lot and my truck was covered in pollen. I drove around doing what I needed to do with all the windows down, and the next thing I knew, I couldn't breathe. I told my granddaughter to call my daughter and bring me her son's inhaler. I know it was a bad idea to use someone else's medicine, but it was the fastest solution and I couldn't breathe. I picked up two of these inhalers for emergencies, and I have used one of them now with amazing results. When I go back to my doctor, I will explain to her everything I went through, but for now, I have peace of mind and I know it will help me. I noticed no side effects after using it, and I recommend that anyone keep it in their purse as an emergency backup plan. I wish I had it that day. I felt like I was dying with fluids coming from all parts of my body!"
