For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I was afraid to start this medicine because of all the negative feedback, but I finally had enough of the all-day nausea. I took it for the first time two nights ago (2 pills at night), and yesterday I was still feeling weak and not too hungry, but then around dinner time, I actually got hungry! I had half of a grilled cheese and a cup of tomato soup! It felt so good to eat. I took the pills again last night, and this morning I dry heaved a bit while brushing my teeth, but then I had 3 saltines and feel okay to take a shower. Before I started taking this, it would take hours in the morning for me to feel well enough to take a shower. I am hoping this is going to help me get my work-life balance back. I was worried that taking it at night (when I wasn't feeling nauseous) wouldn't help me during the day, but I guess it does continue to work for a while. I did not have any issues waking up in the morning. I take the pills at 8 pm, tired by 9 pm, sleep until 6 am, and can get up easily."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I was finally diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) and the hospital prescribed me this med when no other med even took the edge off. I was to take it before bed every night. The first night I woke up drowsy but able to take my daughter to school and even walk her to class! The second night I slept from 10 pm to 1 pm the next day. I had an upset stomach but not sure if the meds caused me to be on the toilet for 30 minutes. For me, it takes the edge off of my nausea but I still vomit and I am extremely drowsy. It feels like it took a whole bottle of sleep aid! No lie. I’m going to take it at least a week before I give up on it completely. And I sleep like a baby once I’m sleeping."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "This medicine is a lifesaver. I'm currently 8 months pregnant and hadn't gained weight at all throughout this pregnancy. I actually lost weight because I was nauseous, vomiting regularly, and couldn't eat throughout this entire pregnancy. I was taking Zofran, which did help, but thanks to Diclegis, I was able to start eating more, the nausea went away, and I gained 5 pounds in 2 weeks. I take Zofran throughout the day and 1-2 Diclegis at night because of the drowsiness, but this medicine is definitely a lifesaver for me."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I started taking this medication three weeks ago, and it works great for morning sickness, but they don't tell you the risks. They say it is safe for both you and the baby, yet I started having severe chest and back pain and had blood work done over and over, and they told me I was fine. But I hadn't had a bowel movement in almost two weeks, and I was in so much pain I couldn't get out of bed. But I found out it was the reason for all my problems: restless sleep, chest pain, back pain, not being able to stand or take care of my children. It was not worth the pain and the suffering, and imagine what your baby is going through if you're in all that pain. There is a reason it was off the market for 30 years."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "A total waste! It was way too expensive, but if it worked, it would have been worth it! Got it, took two the first night. Could not keep my eyes open the next day. Day two took one at night and didn’t work at all, so the next day took two before eating dinner and went to sleep super early... It landed me in the hospital! My heart was rushing, I was throwing up, I was dizzy, and almost passed out! This is just a fancy B6!"

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "This sent me to the hospital! I was on my second pregnancy, and my OB prescribed Diclegis for my morning sickness, which feels more like all-day sickness. I decided to wait till nighttime to take 1 instead of 2 because it said it caused drowsiness, and my toddler was 1 at the time. So I woke up at 4 am feeling extremely flushed, I could feel my blood pumping through my body! My heart was racing out of control. I honestly thought I was having a heart attack! I called 911, and the paramedics said my HR was at 120. Once I got to the ER, I started to hyperventilate to the point where I couldn't walk, talk, and my extremities became stiff. OB laughed at me, didn't believe any of my side effects, fired him, and never took it again! Don't recommend it!"

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I took two of these pills and went into a full-on rage for 6 straight hours. I couldn't control my emotions, my eyelids kept twitching. I felt like I was pumped full of antidepressants and was in a cross-eyed fog. My nausea was definitely gone, considering all the new horrible feelings I was enduring. The nurse said to 'give it time.' I have a two-year-old-I don't have a week or even a few days to be fueled by hatred and impatience. This medicine is horrible. Don't take it unless you want to experience extreme mood swings and irritability."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I was ridiculously sick starting around 5-6 weeks pregnant. At 8 weeks, my new OB-GYN prescribed Diclegis. I started taking 2 pills at night, and I definitely felt better the next day-barely any nausea, so it definitely served its purpose. However, when I returned for the 10-week ultrasound, my doctor informed me that there was no heartbeat and the baby stopped growing around 8 weeks. The heartbeat was strong, 140 at 7 weeks, and this was a totally devastating blow-usually, once there is a heartbeat above 120, there is a very small chance of miscarriage-about 3-4%. I can’t help but think that maybe it is not a total coincidence that the baby stopped growing and died right around the same time I started taking Diclegis. If I am lucky to get pregnant again, I will never touch this drug :("
