For Acne "I was pretty blown away with the results the clindamycin topical gel provided with a cyst. I have been experiencing hormonal acne ever since I entered into my 30s. My dermatologist suggested clindamycin to help reduce swelling and the severity of the acne since I didn't want to take a hormonal medication. Let me just say, WOW! I started developing a cyst (one of those painful ones deep in the skin) a week ago. I was so upset, as they usually take 3-4 weeks to shrink down. It's been 1 week of clindamycin application to my entire face, including the cyst, and it's pretty much gone. I had also had very slight hyperpigmentation, which is also an improvement. I did not pick or pry at the cyst to get these results. If you have cystic acne, this may be a good solution for you. I can't say yet whether it has been preventing cysts, but I do know that it speeds up the healing process!"

Clindamycin topical for Bacterial Vaginosis "I read reviews about Clindesse and was very skeptical. I used it, and the foul odor went away in a matter of hours. I read that it gives you a yeast infection, so I took something to prevent it. Fast forward...Clindesse is a very powerful antibiotic. It literally cleans out all of the old bacteria that metronidazole didn't get. I'm on day 5, and it's still excreting bacteria, but not like in the beginning. I finally feel a sense of relief. Everyone's chemistry is different, so it may work on one woman differently than another. I'd absolutely try it again."

For Acne "I’ve been using a topical clindamycin for over 2 years now to help clear my acne, it’s definitely a miracle drug for me! I never have any problems with my skin while using this product. Highly recommend! But it’s not a cure, more like a long-term temporary fix, my acne always comes back when I run out sadly. But while I have it, my skin is flawless! Good luck!"

For Acne "I don't usually write feedback, but this one, I have to say, it really works! I had tried many topical lotions before, but nothing worked better than it. It took only around a week to get a noticeable result. Yep, there are still a few pimples, but I believe they will diminish soon too."

Clindamycin topical for Bacterial Vaginosis "I have had issues with bacterial vaginitis (BV) in the past, and once I learned what caused them, I haven’t had any problems. I was a little careless recently and was so happy when my doc offered this one-time dose instead of the usual week-long Flagyl treatment. It worked immediately, but after two days, I started having vaginal itching like crazy. On the 3rd day, a thick white discharge started - vaginal yeast infection. I am waiting until the 7 days are up to treat the yeast infection the med gave me, and I regret not choosing the Flagyl. The cause of my BV is semen. It sucks to avoid getting that in me, but so does smelling like a fish. Once I figured out the cause of BV, I’ve been BV-free for almost a decade."

For Acne "I started getting acne after 13. I tried all sorts of home remedies till I turned 14. Then one of my friends just casually told me about this gel. I started using it immediately 'cause the skin was going too worse! It's not a miracle cure for sure! I mean, it won't clear your skin overnight, but yes, patience is required. After 2 weeks or so, I saw some results, and guess what? All my acne and their marks were gone with the continuous use of 2 or 3 months. I enjoyed my marks and pimple-free skin for a couple of months, but it was for just 5-6 months or so! I started getting them again. I increased the usage of this gel and it got worse. It totally stopped working on my skin. And made it badly worse. So use it, and once they are gone, please stop!"

For Acne "It is kind of insane how well and how quickly clindamycin worked on my acne. I typically have very clear skin, but while on another medication, had an acne breakout as a side effect. It was pretty bad. In a couple of days of using this, it cleared. I don't need it or use it daily. However, I have gotten prescriptions filled anytime I feel like my skin is being oversensitive or a small pimple shows up and I am showing signs of a breakout, and this medication works every time."

For Acne "My doctor recently gave me a box full of sample tubes of clindamycin, and in 1 week I am starting to see a difference, and my face is really clearing up, and so far no side effects. I am really happy with this product."

For Acne "I used to have lots of pimples all over my forehead and temples when I was 10, and it kind of went on till I was about 12 or 13 that my skin cleared up. Later on, a few months after I turned 20, I started to get bumps on my forehead again, not really pimples, just bumps (occasionally 1 or 2 pimples). After a few months with this problem, I went to my doctor, and she prescribed me clindamycin. It's amazing! Just the first night, many of my bumps were gone! I'm on my 4th day now, and my skin is clearing up pretty well, the only downside is the dryness it leaves you with. With a good moisturizer, that problem is fixed."

For Acne "Guys! This is a wonder gel! Please try it if you have an acne problem. I had acne at the start of the year, and everyone started to ask about my acne. I felt ashamed. My cousin recommended this. My skin started clearing after a few weeks. Less than one month!"

For Acne "I have had moderate adult acne for many years, and over the counter never touched it. Besides, the regimen was always annoying and time-consuming. I started this about 2 weeks ago after asking my PCP for something to help my acne, as I am getting married in May. I have seen a huge improvement in 2 weeks. My skin tone has also improved. I am very thankful for this medication, and I use it twice a day. It keeps pimples from becoming large and irritating."

Clindamycin topical for Bacterial Vaginosis "I have been struggling with BV for about 15 years. At first, I was being treated for a yeast infection, finally, I was given Flagyl. The first, second, and third rounds didn't work, then they went to the metronidazole gel. All 7 rounds, no success. I have been trying to conceive, so this was a hard pill to swallow. I'm on 27, I just couldn't understand, so I researched different meds and went back to my doctor with questions. She prescribed Clindesse. I rushed home, showered, and inserted the med. The next day, I felt so much better. I was dancing around the house. It's day four with not a symptom of any kind. I love this product, hopefully, the BV remains gone."

For Acne "HORRIBLE! I was prescribed this for acne. After a few days, my entire chest, back, and neck was red and covered in bumps and whiteheads. My skin is already oily, but this made it 100 times worse, and my face got extremely bad. After a week, I got prescribed an oral antibiotic, and it finally started helping clear up my body after a few days, but it took WEEKS for my skin to recover. Even now, I am still trying to get rid of the scarring it caused."

For Perioral Dermatitis "This caused my facial rash to multiply. It caused tiny white heads and red bumps. I was taking oral antibiotics and added this cream as prescribed. I finished the course of antibiotics and was confused why things were getting worse. I stopped using this, and literally within days, my skin was clearer. It’s expensive too after insurance. Not worth it! My skin also responded well to Drunk Elephant Jelly Cleanser in case that helps anyone! I moisturize with Trader Joe’s Oil-Free face lotion when my skin is struggling, and Pond's Deep Moisture face cream when things are calm."

For Acne "I have really bad inflammatory acne around my jawline and cheeks. I started using clindamycin alongside OTC benzoyl peroxide facial cleanser, and by week 2, it got worse. I was so upset but waited it out. I took pictures every few days of my acne, which helped because I could see that there were many little bumps under the skin to start with that I hadn't noticed, and the clindamycin was just helping them come to the top to get rid of them. The biggest thing is to be patient. Week 3, I started noticing a difference in inflammation. On to week 6 now and still experiencing breakouts, but my skin is definitely still purging. Have to keep reminding myself that it can take 12 weeks to clear."

Clindamycin topical for Bacterial Vaginosis "I was prescribed this cream after already taking oral medications that failed to work because I have had a gastric bypass, and the pills were not absorbed by my body enough to get rid of my b.v. I put it in at night and felt 70% better in the morning when I woke up."

For Acne "Okay, so I was prescribed this about 5-6 days ago, and it has made my acne so much worse than it was before. My face has broken out everywhere other than underneath my eyes. Before using this, my face was 95% clear, I maybe had 3 pimples on a bad day. Now I have prob around 70 pimples on my face, and my chin is so dry it’s flaking off. I want to continue this lotion, but if it doesn’t get better in 7 days, then I’m stopping it."

For Acne "I used the liquid version of this product, and it worked really well for about 6 months. Then my doctor prescribed the same medication but in a cream version, and it's not working at all, instead of clearing my breakouts, it makes them worse. It's also making my face extremely oily."

For Acne "I've suffered from acne since I was 12 years old. I'm 29, and even as an adult, I would get pimples or large, boil-looking pimples that would last for days. It was really embarrassing. I started taking this medication in lotion form 6 months ago, and it works wonders. I haven't had any pimples since. I wish I thought about visiting my dermatologist sooner."

Clindamycin topical for Acne "I have been using Clindagel for adult acne for a month now, and no other acne medications have worked on me as well as this one. I have extremely sensitive skin, and I am allergic to most of the acne medications that I used so far, including benzoyl peroxide. I started using this again with lots of apprehension, expecting some allergic reactions, but to my surprise, it didn't have any, except for the first two days of antibiotic-induced diarrhea. I must admit it took a month to start showing action. For the first three weeks, I used to get new and aggressive forms of pimples, but I kept using it, and finally, it is starting to show results now after a month of usage. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is experiencing adult acne or otherwise."

For Acne "I used this gel for 3 months, and the result is very positive. At the beginning, I had a burning sensation, which irritated me too much, but remember the idiom, sabr ka fal mitha hota hai (There is a sweet fruit at the destination of every journey), and now I have no pimples. But one thing, if you stop this treatment and do not look after your face, then pimples will come back - this is my experience. Otherwise, the product is very good."

Clindamycin topical for Acne "Within two weeks of starting to use Clindagel, I had great improvement. I have never had any side effects; I may as well be putting water on my face in that regard, except for how great my skin looks. I have combination skin that's leaning toward needing some anti-aging help, so I use the gel at night after washing my face and mix a little of it with my day moisturizer. The other reviewer makes a good point about benzoyl peroxide. When you need a little more help than the clindamycin, mixing in a little of that really does the trick."

Clindamycin topical for Bacterial Vaginosis "Clindesse is a lifesaver! My BV is cured! I had no real side effects. I always eat yogurt and take probiotics too! The drug is pricey but worth every penny! The one dose is awesome! I wish the price would go down, though. I have to give this drug a 10 rating!"

For Acne "I have struggled with acne since high school, and it has always been a huge insecurity of mine. I have tried many medications, both topical and oral, and none have ever worked. I am currently using clindamycin phosphate gel, and it was prescribed to use with Epiduo gel. However, retinoids like Epiduo are way too harsh for my skin, and the side effects are too present for the benefits of the medication to mean something to me. I stopped using Epiduo after 2 days. I have been using the clindamycin ever since, 2x a day, and have noticed a significant improvement in my skin! I still have acne, but significantly less, and the clindamycin seemed a lot kinder on my skin. Would recommend!"

For Acne "My son, who is 13, just started using this product due to acne in his T-zone. He has really big pores in between his eyes and always breaks out there, on his nose and chin. He was already using Differin every night, which helped clear up acne for the most part after the 'purge,' but he still had breakouts, and it was spreading to his cheeks near the nose. Derma prescribed clindamycin topical gel, and for two weeks since starting, his face has really cleared up. Here is the regimen: at night, wash your face with a mild soap (doc recommended Dove Beauty Bar), wait 15 minutes for your face to dry. Then use Differin in your problem areas, he just puts it in the T-zone. In the morning, wash your face, wait 15 minutes. Then apply the clindamycin in the affected areas in a thin layer. Use sunscreen (oil-free) when going outside. This is working so far, will continue to pray!"
