"I had a septorhinoplasty and was prescribed 500 mg at 3x a day to prevent infection. It wasn’t until the third day on this medication that I experienced diarrhea, nausea, stomach cramps, and feeling hot/flushed. I called the doctor, and he said I could stop taking them. My recovery from surgery would’ve been a cakewalk if I didn’t end up taking this medication. Stay away!!"

For Bladder Infection "I am taking Ibilex 500 twice a day for 5 days. My UTI clears up well, but about 4 days later, the symptoms return, and I have bad stomach aches and very frequent burning urine - drives me nuts, particularly at night. I am concerned that I am taking too many antibiotics. I have been prescribed Ibilex several times over the past couple of years, firstly for an infected big toenail and since November last for the UTIs, which do not seem to completely clear up. Any suggestions would be appreciated, and does cranberry juice work in preventing them?"
