Vantin (cefpodoxime) for Pneumonia "On my fourth pill of Vantin in a few more hours and I couldn't believe the rapidity of the healing! I am taking for Klebsiella Pneumoniae along with Macrobid for Enterro Bacteria! I have had dry mouth, dry throat, increased thirst.. slight ringing in ears that has passed.. headache ugh was the worst so far.. but not horrible. Heavier menstrual period a little dizziness and hey! I'm penicillin allergic. So I think I'm doing A-1."

Vantin (cefpodoxime) for Bronchitis "On the third pill I experienced very severe diarrhea which caused me to discontinue the medication. I am still experiencing the diarrhea even though I have been off the medicine for a few days. Also experiencing malaise and fatigue."

For Bladder Infection "Just so no one goes through the same thing, affected my right side, maybe my liver. Caused headaches, stomach pain, etc. Was prescribed to take one in the morning and one in the afternoon and I can't even explain the pain and fear I'm going through. Plz be careful when taking these. I was on my fourth day with it."

For Kidney Infections "Ok this medicine cefpodoxime is no joke after about an hour of taking medication. My heart started beating fast. And I'm pregnant my belly started pounding. Ok so I decided to take half of pill and then I got really sick with side effects of nausea, sweating, chills, reflux and insomnia. Will not take again not to mention this is prescribed for animals in other countries. I think this works but the side effects are awful."

For Pneumonia "Extreme diarrhea, bloating, then gastritis. Second time: Extreme dizziness, headaches, neck pain, vaginal herpes, mouth sores. This antibiotic should be taken off the market. I also have purple bruising on my body."

Vantin (cefpodoxime) for Bladder Infection "I've had many urinary tract infections and the normal medicines just quit working - I've been successfully treated with Vantin 3 times."

Vantin (cefpodoxime) for Sinusitis "Vantin worked the best for me with sinusitis, where as the "z-pack" did not relieve me at all."

Vantin (cefpodoxime) for Pneumonia "This antibiotic worked really fast with no side effects for me."

Vantin (cefpodoxime) for Upper Respiratory Tract Infection "Works great..... No side effects and clears up my frequent sinus infections quickly!"

For Upper Respiratory Tract Infection "I developed diarrhea after the 5th dose which was half the total course and had to discontinue it. On probiotics now"

For Bronchitis "Today is day FOUR & it doesn’t seem to be helping me at all. Asthma & GERD are factors in my health."

For Bladder Infection "I have used cefpodoxime twice but it takes more than 3 days to get symptomatic relief. I was taking 200mg every 12hours. It generally does not have any side effects on me."
