"Have had minimal side effects with carboplatin. Have also retained my hair after 4 treatments 21 days apart. The day after treatment and then the next two days are generally: very tired and low energy. Day three and beyond are increasingly better."

"My experience with this drug came through my mother, who had small cell lung cancer. She was diagnosed in January 2013. She underwent chemotherapy. She had complained to her doctor that she was experiencing fluttering and tightness in her chest during chemo treatments. On December 13, 2013, she had a severe allergic reaction to this medication. She passed away on December 26, 2013, at 12:05 am. The doctor stated it was an experimental drug at best, and the results were unpredictable. So they used my mother as a guinea pig, is that it?"
