For Anxiety "Recently got back on meds for anxiety attacks. I hadn't had anxiety attacks for a few years, now they are back for some reason. Anyway, BuSpar is okay, it's nowhere near as helpful as Xanax. It does calm me but makes me lightheaded and sleepy as anything. The doc started me on 10 mg. Side effects are pretty strong for me, which sucks because I have to be able to drive a lot and talk to customers all day."

For Anxiety "Initially, I was placed on 5 mg after I was hospitalized in mid-2024. Over time, I was titrated up to 45 mg (15 mg 3x daily), but unfortunately, it didn't work for my anxiety and racing thoughts. The only side effect I experienced was some lightheadedness for the first few days after being raised from 10 mg to 30 mg, but it luckily subsided and wasn't a big issue for me."

For Anxiety "Tried BuSpar for anxiety and stopped after 4 days. I had horrendous heart palpitations and was so light-headed. I was on 5 mg a day, and the only options were to take 2.5 mg or stop. I chose to stop."

For Anxiety "I was on this medication for 4 weeks. I took 7.5 mg x2 daily the first 2 weeks, then 7.5 mg x 3 daily for the last 2 weeks. The first week on this was BRUTAL. Highly increased anxiety, headaches, lightheadedness, and a general feeling of being 'off.' The side effects did get better, but the medicine just never took hold and worked at all for me. Didn’t put a dent in my anxiety. Doctor prescribed me an actual SSRI."
