"My husband had hemorrhoid surgery and had to throw away the narcotics given due to only taking maybe 3 randomly after surgery. He said his pain was not bad after surgery and we had been told it was going to be really bad. Exparel is so good our son invested in stocks! Great stuff!!"

"I've had 10 surgeries in the last 5 years. Every surgery, I have woken up in horrible pain. Yesterday, I had metatarsalgia surgery ... woke up in zero pain! Right at 24 hours, and I'm thrilled with the Exparel! The instructions on the med say up to 72 hours? Bring it on! Happy camper here!"

"I was given a 266 mg injection as a nerve block for an osteotomy. Today is day #8 ... foot and calf are just now fully awake. My pain has never been higher than a 1! Swear! This was my 10th surgery in 5 years ... shoulders, neck, breast, foot x3, gastric, and knee. After every one of those surgeries, I have cried buckets of tears and God only knows how much meds ... this experience has been such a blessing!!!"

"I had Exparel before arthroscopic shoulder surgery. Man - this stuff is amazing! Within 10 min, my entire arm was dead weight. I felt absolutely no pain after surgery. I took NSAIDs and acetaminophen for inflammation, but I had no pain at all. On day two, post-surgery, the numbness started to wear off. I’m at day 4.5 post-surgery, and while I have regained feeling in most of my arm, the area where the three incisions are is still relatively numb. I expect to have full feeling back tomorrow. This numbness meant I really have not needed any narcotic pain medications. I did take narcotics on the second and third night to help me sleep (sleeping is just not easy), and because I was worried the pain would kick in. But it never really did. I’m not sure what tomorrow will be like when it’s no longer numb at the incision sites, but I’m thrilled that I have not had much pain at all and have not needed a bunch of narcotics."

"I love it. I had a tummy tuck today, and although there is pain because they had to cut out a fairly large area, the majority of my pain is coming from my sides where I had the lipo. Not the tummy, because of this medicine. It's a miracle worker. If I ever have another surgery, this is 100% needed. But I have no idea how it would help a tooth. The jaw, on the other hand, makes sense. He also put it directly into my muscles, so that helps a lot."
