"I took Duavee for several weeks and the positives were reduced fatigue and better sleep. I had no gastric problems. However, there were some negatives. These were a body rash/hives that worsened gradually over time. It started on my stomach, stretched around my sides/back, and went down my legs. I experienced an increase in vaginal dryness and worsening of sex drive. Also, I had the occasional muscle spasms in my abdominal area which weren’t painful, just a bit disconcerting. I wasn’t taking the medicine for hot flashes, but when I got one, I decided it was time to stop taking it."

"On Duavee, I had strange dreams and nausea. I wish there was a transdermal application and lower dose option."

"My doctor prescribed the Duavee for osteoporosis, not hot flashes, as I was not having those. Unfortunately, this medication caused me to have hot flashes, which I had never had before in my life. I knew it had to be the Duavee because I was on it for 2 weeks and had several hot flashes every day, having never even experienced one before. Once I stopped, the hot flashes also stopped, although I have felt hotter in general since taking it. Hoping that resolves soon."
