"Percodan was a godsend for me. I had a botched surgery that resulted in excruciating pain. Morphine was as helpful as a lollipop. Finally, a different doctor prescribed Percodan (God bless him). It relieved 90% of my pain within a couple of hours. I forgot the mg, but I took it every 4-6 hours. I had my life back. I was on Percodan for 3 months. No withdrawal or side effects. Best pain med available, and they take it off the market because they manufactured a less effective pain drug for three times the price. Patient comfort is way behind pharmaceutical profits!"

"I had a fractured femur from being hit by a car. Morphine was used initially during the acute pain. On the second day, Percodan was prescribed, even though I wasn't in great pain. After a few days, I had loss of appetite, inability to urinate, and severe constipation. I stopped Percodan, Tylenol was adequate to relieve pain."

"It works really well for my fibromyalgia/arthritis pain, but had side effects due to aspirin."

"I had a hernia operation and a few kidney stones. Taking one Percodan every four hours and when the pain gets more severe, one every three hours. After my hernia operation, I took a Percodan every three hours, even at night, for three weeks. It really saved the day, but I had a hangover for about four days. Worth it."
