For Pain "I have been taking BC’s for as long as I can remember. I know that I’m not the BC Wizard like my ex (you can add that to the list of reasons for taking) at opening/taking, but I manage... UNTIL NOW! I dislike the new packaging enough to write this review, which I never take time to do. I waste as much as I take!!! I hope you convert to original. I even bought a pack of Goodys the other day due to this “problem.”"

For Headache "The new to-go sticks suck! I have always poured BC directly on my tongue and chased it with water. The sticks make this near impossible to do. The dang sticks are too short, hard to open, and leave lots of powder in the stick. I’m rerolling mine. Why tinker with something that ain’t broke? Cater to your longtime customers and quit trying to appeal to the masses. We loved you just the way you were."

For Headache "I can't even begin to tell you how much easier your product has made my life the last 40+ years. I will not quit taking them because of the effectiveness, but the new packaging is terrible. Very hard to get it out. I tap it several times thinking that I have it all, and then inevitably, as soon as I pull the package away from my mouth, it dumps the last of it on my face and clothes. I sure miss the old ones."

"I foresee a lawsuit. I just about choked to death trying to get all the powder in my mouth. (And it never does come out completely.) Throat was sore for two days where I choked. Been using arthritis strength for years against doctors' warnings about stomach conditions. I also did measurements with both the old and new. We are getting less with the new. Of course."

For Headache "I have been using BC powder for years, it is the only med to get rid of my headaches, easy to open the plain white wrap and quick to go in. HOWEVER, the new wrapper makes it impossible to open up. The stick is so hard to tear, I had to use scissors or a sharp edge knife, so it was not discreet at a restaurant but rather an ordeal! Who in the world decided to make this huge mistake and “fix” something that was not broken and was working beautifully? Also, I have had to take two sticks to get the same relief as the old wrappers, I swear they are much less in quantity per stick wrap. I will switch to Goody’s powder because these new wrappers are hard to open and inconvenient and hold less BC powder. What a mistake on the part of the makers."

For Pain "I take BC powders on a daily basis, and I have done so for 40+ years. I take them in place of prescription pain medicines because they just plain make me feel better, and I buy them by the 2, 6, and 50 pack. However, like New Coke, this new BC product is not the same, doesn't work the same, and I deplore the packaging. Please, please, please bring back the old product and packaging. Don't mess with perfection."

For Pain "I have taken this product for many years. This new formula is very bad, I suspect for most people who have been taking this product over the years. The old formula was 650 mg of aspirin and 33.3 caffeine. The new one, as they call it, has 845 mg of aspirin and 65 caffeine. That is way too much aspirin, as most people who take this religiously take it at least 2 times in a 24-hour period. With the first time that I took this new formula, I became very nauseated, had upper stomach pain, and had to lie down for a while. The next time I took one later in the week, the same thing happened."

For Headache "I've used BC powder for 20 years, but now I'm looking for a new product due to the horrible taste that's now in the new packaging. I even contacted BC powder to ask them where I could buy the old packaging and if they were going to have the old one so we could have our choice of which one we wanted, and I got no response. The new packaging is really terrible, and I really hate to change, but can't stomach this new stuff."

For Headache "Like so many others here, I HATE the new packaging. Also, like many others, I am a third-generation user, but no more. I dislike the taste of Goody's powders, but I figure it will become tolerable eventually, I refuse to buy more BCs in these new papers."

For Headache "This new packaging is terrible! I absolutely hate it. It’s not convenient like you think. The medicine gets stuck to the bottom, so you have to shake before opening just to open, and it is still stuck! So you then have to tear the packet carefully so nothing spills on your clothes. Most times, I just lick the medicine out! Ridiculous to have to go through all of this! Please bring the old packaging back."

For Muscle Pain "Never fails. Can't just depend on anything anymore. Everything always has to change 'for the better.' Well, not the case here! Taken them for years, easy, quick, and dependable. Now they give me more pain than I started with. Come on, people, don't make Coke Cola's mistake."

For Muscle Pain "Your new formula is not like the old ones with old packaging. You have lost another customer, and I guess it doesn't matter, but when people like a product and they buy it, don't mess with a good thing. I won't be taking the new ones because the results do not meet my needs to help with muscle pain."

For Headache "Now it's my turn. 'Go back to old packaging.' Just went to Amazon last week. Got the box with 48 packages, 6 in each pack. Everyone, go to Amazon now! Even though BC and Goody's are made by the same company, 'we all know' BC works better. Not surprised there is a forum on this subject. Take care, everyone."

For Headache "The new packaging is horrible. Like others, I have also searched for boxes of the old packaging. Love the product, but will be considering another brand. I do hope they will eventually give consumers the option of which they would like to buy."

"A friend of mine recommended BC Powder about 8 or 9 years ago. I've been buying it in bulk for knee pain, occasional muscle soreness, or just when I need a boost of caffeine. The new package is truly horrible. It's like when new Coke came out. Absolute garbage. Please fix this!"

For Pain "I have been taking BC Powders for RA for five years. After the new packaging, I noticed it simply didn’t work. Then thinking maybe I’m supposed to take two of the go powders... I did. Nope, it’s not the same. I hate the pocket design; powder gets stuck. The paper package really screws up if it’s damp outside. Hello, it rains in the South a lot... needless to say, when I found a shop with the old packaging, I bought them all. Plan to look at alternative powders. To the marketing and design for BC: suggest an apology and a relaunch “what is old is new” again. PARTY!!!!"

For Headache "I hate the new package. I have to use scissors to open it, and it spills out, and then not all of the powder comes out, and I have to tear it down the sides. I understand that if people want to put them in their pockets, that this would work for them, but please at least offer the old package too. People, including myself, would like the option. I prefer the old package. Much easier to take."

For Muscle Pain "I absolutely hate the new package. It takes me 3 times to get all the powder out. Why you would change something that was perfect, I have no idea! For Pain "I have taken BC powders for over 20 years. They have always worked very well. I am not pleased with the new packaging, it is a hassle to use and extremely wasteful. I am a fan of BC, but not the new packaging. Get smart, listen to the folks that have made you one of the most popular pain relievers on the market. It is not rocket science, listen to the people. A degree or doctorate does not mean your ideas are always the best. Look at the old saying... ''IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T TRY TO FIX IT!''"

For Headache "BC powders have always been the best thing for my headaches, but I despise the new packaging. By the time you flick the packet around to get all the powder out, it’s all over the inside of my mouth and I’m frantically having to gulp copious amounts of water to get it all down. I wish I’d kept my old wrappers and I’d just sit down one day and repackage them myself."

For Headache "Used to be great. This new package is horrible. Go back to the old package so we can get on with getting rid of body and headaches. Takes sometimes three goes to get it all out, and that’s with ripping the package open, etc. Used to be able to just unfold, pour, and swallow - could do it driving down the road. Now it’s a huge ordeal."

For Headache "I have used BC Power for many years. At times, if I'm in severe pain, I may take two at a time. The new packaging is difficult to use. It is hard to get all of the powder out of the packaging. So it does go up all over my tongue. With the old packaging, I would simply put the powder in the middle of the wrapper, cradle the paper opposite of the fold, and could get it into the back of my throat without tasting it. If the time arises that I may need two, I simply join the two and take it at once. Neither of which I can do with the new packaging. They changed it without asking if loyal users wanted the change. They say 'On The Go.' We never had trouble taking it with us to begin with. We need the old packaging back the way it was. When I can't find the old packaging in out-of-the-way stores, I'm not taking it anymore."

For Pain "I can tell the formula has been changed since the new packaging, and I don't like the new packaging at all. It's a lot harder to try and get all of the powder out of the pack without spilling it. So will you please go back to the old formula and original folded envelope! Thank you!"
