Aluminum chloride hexahydrate topical for Hyperhidrosis "I've been using Drysol for about 15 years, and it has changed my life. I went from always having to wear black and/or jackets all the time to having absolutely no more sweating! I followed the directions to a tee, but after a year, I started to cut back on my use. Now, I only apply once a month, and it works great. Tip: Make sure you don't shave your armpits for at least a couple of days before applying, and that will alleviate any tingling or burning."

Aluminum chloride hexahydrate topical for Hyperhidrosis "I can't remember a time when I didn't sweat! That all changed a month ago. I bought Drysol and also the mild Drysol for my face. I was unsure about it at first because when I put it on, the tingling was very intense. The first day, I only left it on for four hours and then washed it off because I couldn't take the tingling. The second night, I went all night...the tingling was less. I only did those two nights, and I didn't sweat for almost a week. I use it under my arms and the mild Drysol on my face. I do not recommend it to anyone with really sensitive skin, but I do recommend it to anyone who is desperate for a solution to their problem with hyperhidrosis."

Aluminum chloride hexahydrate topical for Hyperhidrosis "At first, it was like a temporary quick fix. My hands would be dry, but when I got nervous, I would feel the tingling sensation in my hands like they always do before they sweat, and they sweat. I put it on every night, but it doesn't seem to work. Going to the doctor's today to take pills instead."

Aluminum chloride hexahydrate topical for Hyperhidrosis "I've always had a problem with my underarms getting soaked for no reason. It could be freezing, and I would still be wet. There was no smell, just the wetness. As a high school student, I always tried to cover it up with dark clothes and baggy shirts. I've been using Hypercare for about a week, and it's amazing! I've been completely dry since the first use. However, the first two uses made my arms burn really badly. They were really sensitive to the touch for the next two days. I just applied it again for the third time this week, and it is just a small tingling feeling. At first, it may burn, but if you're like me, it was worth it! Great product!"

Aluminum chloride hexahydrate topical for Hyperhidrosis "I have excessive underarm sweating, and I thought I would give Drysol a go, which is an over-the-counter medicine here in Canada. I was hoping that it would work, and I could wear clothes instead of putting on jackets in the summer. On my first application, I dried my armpits and slowly applied it around my armpit and only noticed a little tingling sensation at first. During the night, it itched a little bit, but nothing too bad. The next day, I noticed I was still sweating, so I thought it would work the next day. On the 3rd night I applied it, my armpit started to burn really badly. It burned to the point where I couldn't sleep all night, and I was still sweating like before."

Aluminum chloride hexahydrate topical for Hyperhidrosis "This medication is incredible! Like the other reviewers on this site, I suffered from severe sweating since I was a young child. After using this medication, I found that my sweating was reduced by 90%, if not more. The very mild side effects, a tingling or itching after using the medication, are well worth the peace of mind and joy of living life sweat-free. There are still times when I find myself a little sweaty, but overall I am incredibly impressed with this medication, and it is life-changing. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a sweating issue. Heads up - this medication can take up to a few weeks to fully kick in. You also have to play around with it to find out how much you need and how often you should reapply."

Aluminum chloride hexahydrate topical for Hyperhidrosis "I was recommended this product for axillary hyperhidrosis. The first night, it tingled a little, but it was tolerable. Ever since then, I have been using it every few weeks because I fear losing sleep due to the irritation, which leads to redness and soreness. And then the irritation feels like a tingling itch, which progresses to a burning sensation, especially when you try to scratch a little. I would still try it if I were you, it's different for everyone. The things I learned are to wait maybe 30 minutes after washing underarms at night to apply it, and waiting 2 days after shaving probably isn't enough to restrict burning due to the high level of alcohol in the product. The less, the better, trust me, don't keep piling it on top."

Aluminum chloride hexahydrate topical for Hyperhidrosis "Have been hiding excessive sweating for about 2 years now. Didn't sweat at all after the first application of Drysol! It did tingle/itch for about 15 minutes, but definitely nothing to stop using it for! On day 3 and haven't had a single drop of perspiration and have not had to use another deodorant (although I think I might get one to dab on in the mornings just to make me feel better). BEST PRODUCT EVER."

Aluminum chloride hexahydrate topical for Hyperhidrosis "I just want to say that this product has completely changed my life. I used to wake up to sweaty armpits, and I would worry about lifting up my arms all day long, every day. I would wear jackets to cover up the sweating and try to wear white shirts to try and help. Not anymore. I am 100% satisfied with its results. The only negative effect was just a little tingling and itching, but wow, was it worth it. I no longer have to worry about my armpits! Definitely worth every penny."

Aluminum chloride hexahydrate topical for Hyperhidrosis "I had no problem with hyperhidrosis until I passed the age of 40. Then it suddenly became a huge problem. Peri-menopause, perhaps. I began sweating profusely and became very self-conscious about my body odor. I tried many different antiperspirants/deodorants, including 'clinical strength.' They would work for a short time, then stop working. I mentioned this to my nurse practitioner, and she suggested I try this. It really works! I will admit the itching/tingling/stinging is annoying, but worth dealing with to have dry pits! I used Hypercare for a few years, but recently was prescribed Drysol. They seem to work equally well and have the same side effects for me."

Aluminum chloride hexahydrate topical for Hyperhidrosis "My armpit sweat was absolutely disrespectful. I would sweat for absolutely no reason, laying in bed, talking to friends, walking, living, breathing. It was a nightmare. I finally decided that enough is enough, there must be something out there besides antiperspirant. My doctor prescribed Hypercare, and it has compelled me to share my experience. The first application did tingle, but I was pretty hammered, so I didn't mind. The next day was absolutely amazing. I purposely wore a bright pink shirt (all real sweaters' nightmare, constantly wiping, fanning your shirt, trying to dry the wet stains), and I didn't sweat one bit. Great product, definitely changed my life."

Aluminum chloride hexahydrate topical for Hyperhidrosis "I'm a 15-year-old girl, and I've been using this product for about 2 years now. I used to sweat in my underarms so badly that I'd have huge pit stains, no matter if it was hot outside or not. I started wearing only baggy t-shirts to school because I was so uncomfortable. Then my doctor prescribed Hypercare, and it truly works wonders. I put it on at night before I go to bed, and it burns, tingles, and itches a little, but it's definitely worth it. The next day, I don't sweat AT ALL. Now I can wear cute clothes, and I don't feel gross or uncomfortable! I love this product!"

Aluminum chloride hexahydrate topical for Hyperhidrosis "The stuff is the best thing out there. I have had Botox treatments in the past, and they only lasted up to 3 months. I bought Drysol, and it tingled and itched that evening, but after the first use, I could already tell the difference. On day 2, I shaved that morning and put it on in the evening. I will never do that again (they tell you not to do it, but I thought since I shaved that morning it wouldn't be that bad). It burned all night and the next day, but already on day 2 - NO more sweating. I didn't put it on day 3, afraid of the burning because of the shaving, and I still didn't sweat."

Aluminum chloride hexahydrate topical for Hyperhidrosis "I have severe sweating as a side effect from an anxiety medication I’m on. The main problem area for me was my face. I would sweat so much for no reason, and it was honestly embarrassing for me. I finally brought it up to my doctor, and she prescribed Drysol. I didn’t try it for a while because I have really sensitive skin but finally decided to give it a try last night. I put it on and went to bed. I’m not going to lie, the burning, tingling, prickly feeling was a lot. Not unbearable, but a lot. I washed it off in the morning, and throughout the day there was still a very slight irritated feeling, could be because my skin is so sensitive. But the good thing was barely any sweating! It made a drastic difference from one use! So happy and would recommend for anyone with this issue to at least try it for themselves."

For Hyperhidrosis "Prescribed this by my GP for excessive underarm sweating. Very first application did cause irritation (tingling, itching sensation), but after the first use, it did not happen again as bad. You do have to keep up with applying it, or it does wear off, but when you do use it, it definitely works 100% and boosts confidence. Has a very clinical smell to it but advises not to wear normal deodorant once applied. (I am from the UK. It is £5 for a 60ml bottle or £9 for it as a prescription.)"

Aluminum chloride hexahydrate topical for Hyperhidrosis "I have suffered with excessive sweating on my scalp for 4-5 years, many times staying home rather than be embarrassed by sweat dripping off my hair. After 4 nights of using Drysol, I put it to the test and attended a swim meet for one of my grandkids, 90-degree temperature, and my scalp stayed DRY! The benefit of this far outweighs the temporary tingling and itchy feeling when applied to my scalp. My dermatologist who prescribed Drysol for me is my HERO!"
