"I took Humira for six months for panuveitis and developed itchy lesions on my trunk and arms. Biopsies and blood tests determined that the lesions were a drug-induced lupus rash, so I no longer take Humira."

"I have a rare form of Uveitis that requires once-weekly dosage, but according to my insurance company, it is not FDA approved for that dosage. They will cover every other week dosage, but that is not enough to effectively treat this condition. I believe it may help at the increased dosage, but my hands are tied as I cannot afford to pay out of pocket."

"I've been on Humira for four years for AAU-idiopathic. 40 ml every other week. Used to battle uveitis flares all the time and was at risk of developing other eye issues due to steroid treatment. Since starting Humira, I haven't had a flare-up since. It is quite painful to take the shot, but no other side effects I've noticed. It's a struggle to get approval from insurance every year."
