For Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia "Good results, if slow in coming. I take Diltiazem for chronic a-fib in the morning that interacts with the acalabrutinib that I take in the evening. Hence, my dosage is reduced to one tab daily. I have gained back 20 lost pounds since starting the drug 6 months ago. Most annoying side effect is muscle pain in the back. Pain is worse in the evenings. Reduced by PT exercises twice daily. Fatigue is also an issue. General health, appearance, and well-being much improved and worth tolerating the side effects. Platelets are an issue, 80-100 most recently. Prevents minor surgeries and some eye treatment on hold for a year or more. To be fair, platelets were low before acalabrutinib."

Acalabrutinib for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia "Side effects were minor. Easy bruising and fatigue. CBCs have improved significantly. My hematologist oncologist is very satisfied with my results."

Acalabrutinib for Mantle Cell Lymphoma "My latest PET scan showed that Calquence is working to reduce MCL activity. Side effects mostly occurred when I started the medication, and they were brief. These included fatigue, tinnitus in my left ear, lower appetite, and weight loss. My weight is now stable, although down about 13 pounds from when I started. But I’m okay with that, since it’s a better weight for me. I do have some rashes, which my oncologist says are due to the medication."
