Uses of Clindamycin and Benzoyl Peroxide Gel:
- It is used to treat pimples (acne).
What do I need to tell my doctor BEFORE I take Clindamycin and Benzoyl Peroxide Gel?
- If you have an allergy to clindamycin, benzoyl peroxide, or any other part of clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide gel (90-day storage).
- If you are allergic to clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide gel (90-day storage); any part of clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide gel (90-day storage); or any other drugs, foods, or substances. Tell your doctor about the allergy and what signs you had.
- If you have ever had any of these health problems: Severe diarrhea called antibiotic-associated colitis, regional enteritis, ulcerative colitis, or Crohn's disease.
- If you are using any products that have erythromycin.

Call your doctor right away if you have stomach pain or cramps, very bad or watery diarrhea, or bloody diarrhea. Do not try to treat diarrhea without first checking with your doctor.
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan on getting pregnant. You will need to talk about the benefits and risks of using clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide gel (90-day storage) while you are pregnant.
- Tell your doctor if you are breast-feeding. You will need to talk about any risks to your baby.

- Do not take clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide gel (90-day storage) by mouth. Use on your skin only. Keep out of your mouth, nose, and eyes (may burn).
- If you get clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide gel (90-day storage) in any of these areas, rinse well with water.
- Wash your hands before and after use.
- Clean affected part before use. Make sure to dry well.
- Put a thin layer on the affected skin and rub in gently.
- Do not put on cuts, scrapes, or damaged skin.
What do I do if I miss a dose?
- Put on a missed dose as soon as you think about it.
- If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time.
- Do not put on 2 doses or extra doses.

- Dry skin.
- Itching.
