Repels and kills horn flies, house flies, stable flies, horse flies, deer flies (tabanids), gnats and mosquitoes on horses and ponies. Also kills ticks, including deer ticks on horses and ponies.

REPEL-X®p Emulsifiable Fly Spray repels and kills horn flies, house flies, stable flies, horse flies, deer flies (tabanids), gnats and mosquitoes on horses and ponies. Also kills ticks, including deer ticks on horses and ponies.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: FOR USE ONLY ON HORSES AND PONIES - SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING. Mix REPEL-X®p Emulsifiable Fly Spray with water to the dilution indicated under HORSES AND PONIES. First, put the required amount into sprayer or mixing container. Then, add water according to directions and mix thoroughly before using. IMPORTANT: Mix fresh solution before each use. Apply with pressure sprayer or sponge it on horses and ponies. Make sure animal’s coat is thoroughly wet. Use up to 240 mL of solution for each animal, depending on size of horse or pony. Avoid getting solution into the animal’s eyes. Do NOT administer by mouth.

A veterinarian should be consulted when pest infestation continues to be a problem on the horse or pony. For effective fly and tick control, treatment of the animal should be combined with sanitation of any area or equipment (e.g., blankets) used by the animal. If pest problems persist, an insecticidal premise treatment may be required. HORSES AND PONIES: To repel and kill horn flies, house flies, gnats and mosquitoes on horses and ponies, apply a dilution of 1 part REPEL-X®p Emulsifiable Fly Spray to 7 parts water to the animal. Repeat application daily or when these fly species are a problem. To repel and kill horse flies, deer flies (tabanids) and stable flies on horses and ponies, apply 1 part REPEL-X®p Emulsifiable Fly Spray to 4 parts water to the animal. Repeat application daily or when these fly species are a problem. To kill ticks on horses and ponies, apply 1 part REPEL-X®p Emulsifiable Fly Spray to 4 parts water to the animal. Repeat application daily or when ticks are a problem. If possible, apply directly to ticks.

Hazards To Humans And Domestic Animals

Fatal or poisonous if swallowed. Causes skin and mucous membrane irritation. DO NOT get on skin. Potential skin sensitizer. For animal use only. Not for use on humans. Harmful if swallowed. Avoid contamination of food and feeds. Do not use on horses or ponies intended for human consumption.

ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS: This product is toxic to fish. Keep out of lakes, streams and ponds. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwaters.

PHYSICAL HAZARDS: Do not use or store near heat or open flame.

STORAGE & DISPOSAL: STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry place inaccessible to children and pets. DISPOSAL: IF EMPTY: Do not reuse this container. Place in trash or offer for recycling if available. IF PARTLY FILLED: Dispose of the container in accordance with provincial requirements. Never place any unused portion down any indoor or outdoor drain.

FIRST AID: HUMANS: IF SWALLOWED: Call a poison control centre or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the poison control centre or doctor. Do not give any liquid to the person. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

IF INHALED: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably by mouth-to-mouth if possible. Call a poison control centre or doctor for further treatment advice. IF ON SKIN OR CLOTHING: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control centre or doctor for treatment advice. IF IN EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control centre or doctor for treatment advice. HORSES AND PONIES: Sensitivities may occur after using any pesticide for animals. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe the animal with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately. If irritation or other adverse effects develop, wash with soap and water immediately. Seek medical attention if symptoms persist. IN CASE OF MEDICAL EMERGENCIES or health and safety inquiries, or in case of fire, leaking or damaged containers or for product use information, call 1-800-548-2828. Take container, label or product name and Pest Control Reg. No. with you when seeking medical attention. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION: Treat symptomatically.
