AVIAN REOVIRUS VACCINE

KILLED VIRUS

FOR USE IN ANIMALS ONLY

This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy chickens 16 weeks of age or older to provide passive protection of progeny against reovirus-related malabsorption syndrome. Duration of immunity has not been established for this product. For more information regarding efficacy and safety data, see productdata.aphis.usda.gov.

Directions For Use

Vaccine should be warmed to room temperature before use.

Shake well before and during use.

Inject subcutaneously.

Vaccinate (prime) with live virus tenosynovitis vaccine at least 4 weeks prior to the use of this vaccine.

Vaccinate between 16 and 20 weeks of age.

Revaccinate 4 to 6 weeks later.

Dose: 1/2 ml (0.5 mL) per bird. Inject all birds in flock.

Contains penicillin and streptomycin as preservatives.

Storage temperature: Store at 2° to 8°C (35° to 46°F). Do not freeze.

Warnings

In case of human exposure, contact a physician. Do not vaccinate within 42 days before slaughter. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not mix with other products, except as specified on the labeling.
