The most commonly reported side effects included burning, dryness, erythema, itching, and peeling.[Ref]
Local
- Very common (10% or more): Burning/burning sensation (up to 25%)
- Uncommon (0.1% to 1%): Desquamation, dryness, erythema, itching, oiliness, peeling[Ref]
Dermatologic
- Frequency not reported: Mild to severe skin irritation, skin tenderness[Ref]
Hypersensitivity
- Frequency not reported: Generalized urticarial reaction[Ref]
Generalized urticarial reactions required systemic steroid treatment.[Ref]
Ocular
