General adverse events

The most commonly reported side effects included burning, dryness, erythema, itching, and peeling.^[Ref]

Local

• Very common (10% or more): Burning/burning sensation (up to 25%)
• Uncommon (0.1% to 1%): Desquamation, dryness, erythema, itching, oiliness, peeling^[Ref]

Dermatologic

• Frequency not reported: Mild to severe skin irritation, skin tenderness^[Ref]

Hypersensitivity

• Frequency not reported: Generalized urticarial reaction^[Ref]

Generalized urticarial reactions required systemic steroid treatment.^[Ref]

Ocular
