Ask your doctor before using dextroamphetamine together with sodium bicarbonate, this can increase the effects of dextroamphetamine. Call the doctor if you experience restlessness, tremor, rapid breathing, confusion, hallucinations, panic, aggressiveness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, an irregular heartbeat, and seizures. If your doctor prescribes these medications together, you may need a dose adjustment or special tests to safey use both medications. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
