Rufinamide may reduce the blood levels of rolapitant, which may make the medication less effective in treating your condition. Contact your doctor if your symptoms worsen or your condition changes. Food can enhance the levels of rufinamide in your body. To ensure maximal oral absorption, rufinamide should be administered with or immediately after a meal. This will make it easier for your body to absorb the medication. Do not drink alcohol while you are taking rufinamide. Alcohol can increase some of the side effects including drowsiness or dizziness.
