Alpelisib may decrease the blood levels and effects of pantoprazole. Your doctor may be able to prescribe alternatives that do not interact, or you may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring to safely use both medications. Food significantly enhances the absorption of alpelisib. You should take each dose of alpelisib at the same time each day with a meal. Taking it on an empty stomach may lead to inadequate blood levels and reduced effectiveness of the medication. Talk to your doctor if you have questions or have difficulty taking alpelisib with food.
