Elacestrant should be taken with food at approximately the same time each day. Grapefruit, grapefruit juice, and supplements that contain grapefruit, however, may increase the blood levels of elacestrant, which may increase the risk of side effects such as muscle pain, nausea, increased cholesterol, increased liver enzymes, fatigue, decreased hemoglobin, and vomiting. Consuming large amounts of certain fruit juices, including grapefruit, orange and apple, may decrease the levels of fexofenadine in your body. Fexofenadine should be taken with water and refrain from drinking large amounts of grapefruit, orange, or apple juice. This will make it easier for your body to absorb the medication.
