Apply a thin layer to the entire affected area 1 to 3 times a day.
Comments:
- Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, therapy should start with 1 application once a day, gradually increasing to 2 to 3 times a day if necessary.

Administration advice:
- For external use only; avoid contact with the eyes.
- Clean the skin thoroughly before using this drug.
- Apply only to affected areas (i.e., areas with acne).
- Do not apply to broken skin or large areas of the body.
- Topical lotion: Shake very well before use.
Storage requirements:
- Topical lotion: Store away from heat; keep bottle tightly closed.
General:
- Topical cream: Shown to be effective in the treatment of acne rosacea
Patient advice:
- If skin irritation occurs or worsens, stop using this drug and consult physician.
- Dryness and skin irritation more likely to occur if another topical acne agent is used simultaneously; only use 1 topical acne agent at a time if irritation occurs.
