Usual Adult Dose for Pain
Apply topically to the affected areas four times a day
Comments:
- Clean and dry the affected area prior to application.
- Apply to intact skin to cover the most painful area.
- If irritation or burning occurs during application, wipe off the product and do not apply until the irritation subsides.
- When using this product concomitantly with other local anesthetic agents, the amount absorbed from all formulations should be considered.

Precautions
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- In patients with known sensitivity to local anesthetics of the amide type or any of the ingredients of the product.
- In patients with known hypersensitivity to diclofenac sodium.
- Use in the setting of coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery.
Safety and efficacy have not been established in patients younger than 12 years.

Administration advice:
- For external use only.
- Clean and dry the affected area prior to application.
- Wash hands after using this product.
- When using this product, avoid contact with the eyes.
Storage requirements:
- This product is flammable. Keep away from excessive heat or open flame.
- Store out of the reach of children.
- Store at 25C (77F); excursions permitted to 15C to 30C (59F to 86F) with lid tightly closed.
General:
- Medications that need to be applied to the skin must not be swallowed.
Patient advice:
- Apply only to intact skin.
- Sun exposure must be avoided during therapy.
