Because bepridil is primarily eliminated by the liver, the initial dosage may need to be adjusted in patients with liver disease.
Dose Adjustments
The dosage may be adjusted upward after 10 days. Dosage adjustments may be needed for patients with impaired hepatic or renal function.
Dosage adjustments should be made cautiously in patients with a history of heart failure.

Use with caution in patients with sinus bradycardia < 50 beats/min.
