For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am 64, 5’2” tall and weighed 210 when I started Zepbound with 2.5 mg on January 15, 2024. I had no side effects with 2.5 and lost 12 pounds the first month. I went up to 5.0 ml and still no side effects but lost only 5 pounds that month. Went up to 7.5 and started having mild nausea, diarrhea, and indigestion. Lost another 10 pounds that month. I'm on week 2 of 10 ml. Side effects are much worse. I've lost a total of 35 pounds but in week two my stomach physically hurts, nausea is much worse and so is diarrhea. I think I will not be able to complete the next two doses on 10 ml so looking to drop down to 5.0 for maintenance and hopefully continued weight loss."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Started with the initial 2.5 mg injections and experienced queasiness, and though my appetite remained, I got a sick feeling less than halfway through the meal. After 4 weeks, even though I was eating very little, my weight only dropped a few pounds. Then I advanced to 5 mg and my stomach was gassy and totally upset, I ate Tums constantly to control the acid indigestion. The worst part was to come, for one solid week, I was a total insomniac. I mean no sleep. This lasted a little over a week. I stopped with the injections after the first 5 mg one. It is now a month later and most of the symptoms are gone."

For Obstructive Sleep Apnea/Hypopnea Syndrome "Started with & stayed with 12.5 mg dosage. Weight loss of 20 lbs, then stabilized to just over my usual weight. Had a bit of indigestion at first but this dissipated after a few doses. My angst is I have extreme hair loss, and now hives. Trying to factor in thyroid issue & high sensitivity to Repatha, which I was forced to discontinue. Otherwise, I'm loving Zepbound! Brought me back to my typical self!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I took my first injection yesterday, and today I am feeling a little nauseous, some indigestion, and some tiredness. I am drinking lots of water, but haven’t really eaten anything but a small yogurt and some coffee today. Not sure if I’ll eat anything more today or if I’ll just wait until tomorrow."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "As soon as I began at the 2.5 dosage, I modified my diet radically to mitigate or even entirely avoid the dreaded side effects of indigestion, nausea, constipation, heartburn, and vomiting. I also embarked on a free-weight program to build muscle. Fortunately, I’ve experienced none of the unpleasant side effects. I’ve titrated up after each 4-week dosage and am now in the middle of 7.5 mg. My doctor tells me I have lost more weight than most patients have at this point. I also have chronic inflammation, which extra weight exacerbates, and I’m watching carefully to see that marker decrease. That’s the good news. Zepbound has completely changed my relationship to food. I consider myself a “foodie.” That’s now behind me. I remind myself that it’s been only 10 weeks. I’m hopeful that at some point, I will be able to enjoy more of the foods that were once such a large part of my life."
