For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Works well. The appetite suppression and quieting of “food noise” has been very effective. Unfortunately, I just saw my recent labs and discovered that my triglycerides are well over 500! This is very alarming since I do not consume large amounts of butter, fat, etc. Now I’m worried that I may have/get pancreatitis."

For Type 2 Diabetes "On 7.5 g Mounjaro. Blood sugar numbers came down. Weight did not. Experienced many of the more common side effects, e.g., diarrhea, gas, increased GERD. Ate less, watched protein intake closely. Experienced acute pancreatitis that was caused by gallstones, including one that blocked a biliary duct. After gallbladder surgery, my primary care physician decided to take me off Mounjaro permanently. I want to stress that I do NOT believe the drug had a thing to do with the pancreatitis, as I had the gallstone symptoms far longer than I was taking Mounjaro."

For Type 2 Diabetes "I have been taking Mounjaro for almost three months, increasing the dosage each month according to my doctor's prescriptions due to my Type 2 diabetes. I have experienced dizziness, constipation, lack of appetite, blurry vision, and nausea after eating a meal. None of the side effects I've experienced have been severe enough to warrant discontinuing Mounjaro. My A1C has dropped from 8.5 to 6.3, and I have lost 30+ pounds since starting Mounjaro. I have not experienced diarrhea, vomiting, or pancreatitis. I am pleased with Mounjaro, which has resulted in weight loss and diminishing A1C levels."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I was happy with the weight loss, but recently found out that I have developed pancreatitis. I don't drink, and I've never had pancreatitis before, so my doctor says it's due to the Mounjaro, and that I need to stop taking it. I'm bummed because I had lost 20 pounds and still need to lose 40 more."
