For Type 2 Diabetes "I weighed in at 265 on September 27, 2023. My first month, I lost nearly 30 lbs, two another 20 lbs. I’ve lost nearly 80 lbs. I’ve gone from a size 22/24 to a size 12. From a size 2x tops to a medium/large. In September, I was injecting 50 units of Lantus AM and PM, and 15 units of Humalog 3x daily. My diabetes was still out of control. My mother and father both were insulin-dependent. My mother lost her kidneys and my father lost his legs, one joint at a time. I am so thankful I gave Mounjaro a chance. From my first injection of 2.5 on 9/27/23, I have not needed a drop of insulin nor any other diabetic medication. I also have the energy (sun up to sun down) of a 4-year-old! This medicine has changed my life! Thank you, Mounjaro!!! I never thought I’d say this, but I’m still losing, very slowly. I’m wondering where it will stop. I’m backing the dose down Thursday - I want to get to 2.5 and stay there. I’m on 7.5 now. Don’t give up. With Mounjaro, you can do this!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Mounjaro on July 1. Weighing in at 255, I took the 2.5 dose and am on my 4th shot. So far, no side effects, and I have lost 15 lbs. I am 70 and have stage 3 kidney disease. In August, I will begin taking the 5 mg dose and hope to continue with more weight loss."

For Type 2 Diabetes "My question is if a medication such as Mounjaro helps and works and allows a patient to live an almost normal life but cannot afford to pay for it, how come Eli Lilly is so adamant about helping a senior on Medicare to pay for this medication. How about offering a reasonable discount so that I can continue buying it so I do not face hypo no hyperglycemia? Is my health not worth it vs. the CEO and the rest of the top management to get their big bonuses? Really! Patients need help, please. Medicare patients are not allowed to use savings cards, only commercial medical insurance. Please think about this issue and help us to live a better and decent life. I am not obese, nor do I need it for weight loss. I need it to maintain my health. Thank you in advance should you find it in your heart to help me with my costs. I was diagnosed with CKD, and after I started using Mounjaro, my kidneys numbers went up significantly so did my diabetes being more manageable. Thank you again."

For Type 2 Diabetes "This is my third review. I’m 5’0”, started weight at 157. On Mounjaro one year. I’m a diabetic kidney transplant recipient, also have high blood pressure. Was on Trulicity for approximately 5 years but started having stomach pains, so was switched to Mounjaro. My A1C is now 5.8, my weight fluctuates from 109 to 111. I lost 47 lbs, 29% kids. I started on 5 mg because I had already been on Trulicity. My glucose levels started improving with the 10 mg, and weight loss started to come off more, which I started in August 2024. I’m very appreciative of Mounjaro, and for 2 months my dose is down to 7.5 mg, and glucose levels and weight are maintained with this dose. In the beginning, I had minimal side effects and currently don’t have any side effects at all. Mounjaro affects everyone differently. Mounjaro is very easy to use. I’m sure there are negative reviews, but please try it for yourself."

For Type 2 Diabetes "I started the medication in November of last year. I started with 5 mg and incrementally increased the dosage up to 15 mg. The small hypodermic needle made it easy to inject. At 10 mg, I reached a plateau with the weight loss. I eventually went up to 15 mg and stayed on that dose for 2 months. The primary reason for taking it was for type 2 diabetes, and I benefited from weight loss as I was also overweight. As of today, I have lost 35 lbs but stopped the Mounjaro about a month ago. My appetite seemed to slowly get back to normal, which is not a good thing. I also did intermittent fasting, so that helped a lot with the cravings, etc. I also get some bouts of constipation, but my diet made up for that. My urine smelled different. I pray there were no effects on my kidneys. My blood sugars are normal. My A1C is 5.2, so I chose to stop the medication and continue the weight loss journey naturally."

"'This medication is a miracle. I’m a 53-year-old female. I never had a problem with my weight until after the age of 45. During COVID, I gained 30 pounds and got up to 170. I was exercising regularly and trying to eat healthy, but could not lose any weight. I started Mounjaro and lost 10 pounds the first month. I had very few side effects. The only thing I experienced was constipation. Once I became used to the medication, I realized that my neck tension and migraines were gone. I’ve been on the medication for 6 months, taking only every other month, and have lost a total of 40 pounds. I’m now at 134 pounds. My goal weight is 130. I feel AMAZING. This medication has been life-changing. I've not only lost weight, but it also regulates my fatty kidney, taken away migraines, and helped with anxiety."

For Type 2 Diabetes "I have been using Mounjaro for about 6 weeks. I was on the 2.5mg until 3 weeks ago when the dosage was increased to 5.0mg. It is going to take a higher dosage to get my care under control I believe, but I have faith it will work. I was prescribed Mounjaro as a replacement for Metformin. Metformin worked, but after years of taking it, it was affecting my kidney function. Mounjaro is the alternative."

For Type 2 Diabetes "I currently have renal failure. I needed a kidney and pancreas. I was on the list for both. I did all my workups, even a triple bypass. My doctor put me on Mounjaro because of my heart surgery and diabetes. The Mounjaro worked so well it fixed my pancreas, and now I’m just on the list for a kidney. The side effects of using it were a little diarrhea and weight loss. I was 300-plus pounds, now I am under 160. Plus, I am no longer needing insulin for my diabetes. It’s practically gone."
