"The only time I've experienced vomiting was after eating greasy food then drinking wine, otherwise, none. I've had a little nausea, but nothing to concern me. I'm steadily losing weight, and in 11 weeks, I'm down 19 lbs with about 10 more to go until I'm at a healthier weight for my height. A couple of people have criticized me for using it, but I was using a calorie deficit and intermittent fasting while exercising every day, but just not losing anything, so I'm happy with my decision to start taking it."

"Side effect I’d say I’ve had is a little bit of diarrhea and nausea. I’ve been on it for over a year now. I’ve lost over 140 pounds, still have a lot more to go, but it also helps control my type two diabetes, brought my A1c down from 10.8 to 4.6. Very happy with that, but I just had to have my appendix out right away because it was just about to rupture. Never had a problem with it until recently, so a coincidence or is it the medicine? Who knows, but I do know that this medicine has been a godsend for me. I do have gastroparesis along with IBS, and I tried to take Ozempic before this, and it about killed me, so an ambulance had to come and get me on the Ozempic. I do know I’m able to handle Mounjaro a lot easier on my system. If it wasn’t for Mounjaro, I don’t know where I’d be with my health right now, trying to raise three kids under the age of 14. So thank you."

"I started taking Mounjaro for weight loss. I had no side effects on 2.5 mg and 5 mg. Weight loss was consistent at 1 kg per week. On 2.5 mg I still had an appetite and had no trouble eating moderately. On 5 mg I began to experience total loss of appetite. On W1 of 7.5 mg I awoke with extreme nausea, but other than that I was okay. On W2 of 7.5 mg I got very ill. I took the injection on Tuesday. By Wednesday night I vomited once. On Thursday, I started feeling nauseous with an egg-like aftertaste. By evening I was suffering from extreme diarrhea - every 20 to 30 minutes through the night. My stomach sounded full of sloshing water and gas and periodic large burps. On Friday I felt very dehydrated. I stayed in bed, sipped only water and diarrhea subsided. On Saturday I ate breakfast and a small amount of food for lunch. Saturday night diarrhea and vomiting again. It’s now Sunday and I feel weak and will not be taking 7.5 mg again. I will take a rest for a week before decreasing the dose to 5 mg to see how I go."

"I am 56 years old and I weighed 343 lbs, and my height is 6 ft. tall when I asked my doctor about using Mounjaro. I was a type 2 diabetic. I wore a size 50 pants and a 4 XL shirt. Started Mounjaro a year and six months ago along with a low carb diet. I walked on the treadmill 1 to 3 miles 3 times a week. As of today, I've lost 134 lbs and wear a size 32 to 34 pants. My shirts are large to extra large. I am able to jog and not walk. My A1c is 4.5 to 5.4, down from 7. All around better quality of life thanks to Mounjaro. I wished there was a way to post my pictures of my before and after on here. But I just wanted to share, and if my 56-year-old self can do it, anyone can. God bless."

"Been taking 2.5 ml for only 3 weeks now but have lost nearly 6 kg. I had one mouth ulcer the first week and one the second but none since, so possibly not related. The beginnings of constipation this week, but I increased my fiber intake, and I am now fine. No stomach cramping, but I was recommended to take a magnesium supplement before starting Mounjaro to head those off. I continue to take it. No cramping so far. No other symptoms. I do have Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, high cholesterol, and fatty liver disease. I simply had to lose weight. I have given up smoking 3 times in the past 4 years and gained 10 kg every time. (I don't smoke now.) I am 59. This medication is saving my life. If I lose weight again this week, I will stay on the low dose for another month. Appetite suppression has been very strong since week 1. The KWIK pen is so simple and pain-free. I live in Australia."

"I have used Ozempic, Saxenda, and Wegovy and changed due to shortages, nausea, or not getting results. Been on Mounjaro for 1 month at 2.5. I have lost 2.8 kilos. No nausea and no desire to eat or pig out. My IBS/bloating has significantly reduced too. However, I eat small, healthy meals of protein, salads, and some fruit. I am very conscious of eating nutritious food and drinking lots of water. Mounjaro is expensive (in Australia), but it so far is the best product for me."

"My experience with Mounjaro has been incredible. I started with 2.5 ml = 4/wk., 5 ml = 4/wk, 7.5 ml 4/wk (nausea with higher doses, no side effects). It's given me my life back. I have lost 15 kilos; I was 85 kilos, high cholesterol. I lost my appetite completely, eating only pears for breakfast, black coffee, steamed green veggies, and chicken. I have no dairy, takeout, or alcohol. Drinking a lot of water is essential, at least 3 liters or more per day. My body took four weeks to show any results; my body measurements changed first. I noticed in the 5th week, after a weekend, I had dropped 6 kg. My face became thinner, and someone said, 'You're shrinking.' I found it easier to drink fluids than eat food; it completely shut off my hunger. I had to make myself eat a savory biscuit. It was expensive! (No concession) Remember, everyone is different. I do have PHI, although they are ending the benefit due to the expense not being sustainable. I am strength training to gain muscle."

"I have been struggling with my weight since I was 16. I quit smoking, had two children, entered menopause, and my weight became uncontrollable (my blood tests have always been perfect). I found the strength to start dieting a couple of times a year but hit rock bottom in March, 48 years old, 107 kgs. Depressed and unable to start -again- the keto diet (it works very well for me), I asked for help and was put on antidepressants and Mounjaro. A real game changer. I started the diet with no willpower, no bad feelings, no cravings, no need for self-control, just naturally. I got into ketosis easily and quickly. As a side effect, I have slight nausea a couple of days after the injection. No big deal, as it helps with the diet. No more food noise, I am able to think and prepare my meals without rushing, and so far, I have lost 6 kg in 14 days. I plan to continue for as long as I can and then stop and get my weight under control. We'll see."

"Mounjaro Review - A Life-Changing Experience. I've been on Mounjaro for almost a year, and I have never been happier. I've lost 70 pounds, and I feel and look great! I haven't experienced any side effects, and while I can eat anything I want, I simply don't have the same appetite as before. Interestingly, I used to enjoy a glass or two of wine weekly, but I no longer have cravings for it, and I'm perfectly happy about that. "I started taking Mounjaro for weight loss and also for type 2 diabetes. I started taking it in February 2024. I have lost 124 lbs total. It has been a lifesaver, but I have been experiencing a lot of side effects lately. I am not sure if it is due to the medicine or something else. I have been sick also, so it could be that. I cannot walk without severe exhaustion and vomiting sometimes. I have trouble breathing most of the time. "In 2023, I began taking Mounjaro and went from the 2.5 dosage to 10. I lost almost 40 pounds and then couldn't get it anymore! I put on 22 pounds in about 6 weeks! When Mounjaro became available again, I started again and lost that 22 pounds plus 50 more pounds for a total of 72 pounds. I have NEVER had a single side effect and have used EMMA for any constipation (but I've always had trouble with constipation anyway!). My goal was to get to 125 pounds and then gain back 5 pounds because all my life I've heard that it's a good thing to do to fill out your face. It may be just an old wives' tale, but I now weigh 127 and that's my plan. I guess I should tell my age so that older individuals who have suffered from the highs and lows of dieting and never being successful long-term will realize that we too can lose weight and keep it off. 84."
