"It's been great over the last 4 months, and I have lost about 40 lbs. They have increased my dosage to 12.5, as it seems the drug has lost its effectiveness. I've been hungry much more often than I was previously. I think we will try the maximum dosage for the next month and see how that works. I read that your body can develop a tolerance for the drug, so the effects are no longer as acute. Overall, a positive experience."

"This medicine has made me so sick. I will never take it again. I have not eaten in over five days. I am so weak, I feel like my blood sugar is low. I am not a diabetic, I only wanted to lose a few pounds. I have been sick, nauseous, vomiting, fatigue, diarrhea. Until I got everything out of my belly, my belly felt full, even when I did not eat. Constant belching. My food does not taste good. I am miserable. I’m sure it has great benefits. My other family members took it, as for me, whom is diabetic, extremely curvy, but just wanted to lose excess belly fat. I probably should’ve just gone to the gym, exercised more, or even worn a waist trainer. To me, in my opinion, it’s not worth it."

"I started using this as I'd already lost 3 stone through diet and exercise. All of a sudden, that steady 1 pound a week weight loss just stopped and nothing shifted it. I decided to give Mounjaro a go. 1st week I lost 2 pounds, 2nd week 2 pounds, and my 3rd week 4 pounds... amazing! I do combine with a 1500-calorie diet and regular exercise at the gym. I don't have the energy at the gym that I did before and can feel tired at times, but they seem to be the only side effects. I'll be going up to a maintenance dose of 5 mg soon."

"I have started out with Ozempic, took what I could. I maybe lost 10-15 pounds. But then it leveled off, so then my doctor introduced me to Mounjaro. The first level of dosing there was a noticeable difference, not any real side effect, but I noticed that I didn’t get hunger pains like I would have without it. There was a period of time in between levels of the Mounjaro, where I was without GLP & GLP-1, and the hunger pains returned. Then I started the next level, and within eight hours, my stomach and the rest of myself felt a little achy. And I felt drowsy. Once I took a small rest, the aches went away. After a full night's sleep, I felt better. My appetite has been very low to almost no appetite. I will be glad to continue to track & report my progress."

"Awesome medication! Started end of Sep 2024 for weight loss. Straight away I noticed that my food noise was gone, sugar cravings were gone, and I felt more motivated and had more energy. "Minimal weight loss in 5 weeks. Continual feeling of acidic stomach, some reflux. Constipation if not taking a stool softener. It has decreased my appetite. It also lets me know if I eat a food high in flour or sugar with severe acid reflux. Overall, I feel miserable while on it."

"I have had great success, I have gone from 332 in the doctor's office to 259 naked at home. The last month has slowed considerably, only losing 5 pounds. I would like to lose another 30. My only concern is this last weekend I experienced an Afib episode, I had never had this before. Is there a connection between Mounjaro and Afib?"

"Initially stomach upset. But that settled. Still had appetite on small dose, but at 7.5 ml dose is when I can see and feel changes. First dose at 7.5 ml vomiting on first dose, however, it has subsided. Weight loss apparent due to smaller portion sizes. Overall, so far so good."

"It's like someone flicked a switch and my food cravings and the need to completely eat every meal vanished. Coupled with not eating unhealthy food routinely and exercise, I lost over 50 lbs in 5 months. I am now on maintenance of 5 mg. Side effects include, from month 3, feeling cold far more often and more like an inner chill than just my skin. From month 6 (recent weeks), I have been experiencing itchiness and a mild rash on my upper torso and back. The weight loss has been remarkable, and the side effects minor given the greater health benefits of the weight loss."

"The medication did help. I started in September 2024, dosage 2.5 Mounjaro. After 4 weeks, I noticed itching bumps that lasted 2 days after the injection. I told my doctor, and she decided this was not good. As of November 2024, she will no longer prescribe because of this side effect. I explained it was not a problem for me, but she will not prescribe, said I was allergic to it? It was good while it lasted. Not sure what to do now."

"Started Mounjaro 2.5 mg a month ago and have lost 15 lbs. I have had no side effects. Very easy to use. Has helped me to reduce my calorie intake. My hunger has been suppressed. Just remember to drink lots of water. Definitely recommend."

"I started on the 2.5 mg dose; after five weeks (first dose at the doctor's office, then four weeks on home supply); then I switched to the 5 mg dose. Side effects for the time from the initial dose through week two of the 5 mg dose were - weight loss of 4 lbs, decreased appetite (less interest in food and felt full after eating half of my previous consumption). BS levels have remained stable at around 130. Suddenly, after two weeks on the 5 mg dose, I developed acute diarrhea. It has lasted 10 days now. This is tiring and affects what I do and where I'm willing to go. I'm not sure how long I'll endure this before talking with the doctor to discuss potential alternatives."

"Prescribed for PCOS and weight loss. Best weight loss drug I have ever been on. No food noise at all, no sugar cravings, and I have started exercising for the first time in a year. Not much appetite, and rarely do I feel nausea, etc. I have lost about 4 kg in about 6 weeks fairly easily. I am eating better on this too, my body seems to want plant-based foods. I used to crave sugar every single day, but on this I am not fussed by it, and when I do eat it, I think it’s out of habit, not because I want it. Tried Saxenda before and lost 10 kg, but I was sick a lot on it. Ozempic made me constipated. This has been the best by far. It is expensive here in Australia at $85 per week for a 5 mg vial, but it has been very worthy it."

"Prior to starting the shots, I was very regular. From the very beginning, I rarely go to the restroom, and when I do, only once or twice in the last 7 weeks was it almost a normal amount. I've also found that if I eat food after 5 pm, it does not digest in the next 11 hours, and my gag reflex is so sensitive when brushing my teeth that I throw up my entire dinner from the night before. Injecting the shots is so painless, sometimes I wonder if it even went into my skin, but I do hear the pen click when it's finished, so I think it worked properly. I also have very little desire to eat carbs or sweets anymore, which is nice, but I've only lost 8.5 pounds after 7 weeks, which is frustrating."
