"I found out that eye drops can indeed drip into your throat. I could temporarily taste it, which I ignored, but it felt like I was swallowing knives for hours after using the drops. I also had burning eyes for hours, but it was always delayed by 2-3 hours, so it took me some time to realize what was going on. It did help get rid of the migraine the first time I used it, but I have to weigh the pros and cons of the side effects. Definitely not the worst side effects. I may keep it in my toolbox of meds if I'm desperate, but it won't become a regular medication as I had originally planned."
