Sofosbuvir / velpatasvir for Hepatitis C "I'm on day 6 of starting Epclusa. On day 3, dizziness was so severe I almost had to crawl to the bathroom, went back to sleep, and 3 hours later still couldn't get my head to stop spinning to walk. But when I got up later, the spinning was gone. Seem to always have a slight headache and nausea in the background. Short of breath and cloudy vision really bad. Day 4 and 5, extreme fatigue. Hope it all gets better."

Sofosbuvir / velpatasvir for Hepatitis C "I’m 29, have had Hep C for 10 years. My GI prescribed 12 weeks of Epclusa. I have 4 weeks left. I’ve lost almost 20 lbs. I’m 5’7 and about 128 lbs now, but have stopped dropping weight for the most part. The first 4 weeks I couldn’t work. To do anything was a struggle, headaches come and go. My sleep has been off, bouts of anger, depression, and mood swings have been intense. I don't know why the doctor didn’t say anything about emotional symptoms because they are real and have been present since day one. I’m starting to get my energy back. I messed up and overworked myself for 3 days and ended up throwing up my Epclusa tablet. I’ve only thrown one up and wasn’t able to replace it, but the doctor and pharmacist said it was nothing to worry about. I’ve used green to help with the nausea and other side effects. I’m not suggesting this to anyone, but I couldn’t have done it without it."

For Hepatitis C "Day 1 and 2 on sofosbuvir with velpatasvir: no side effects. Day 3 and I wake to nausea, body aches, pain in upper right abdomen, shortness of breath, and wicked, lucid dreaming. I try to envision my body fighting a war to save my life, so I'm going to buckle up and keep going."

Sofosbuvir / velpatasvir for Hepatitis C "I'm on week 7 of Epclusa. I started after I was hospitalized for liver failure in June 2024. At week 6, my tests came back as nonreactive. I am cured! I need to finish the 12-week course. I have had severe fatigue, loss of appetite, and nausea every day of treatment, but it's so worth it. I am a retired nurse and got Hepatitis C working in the hospital. I am so grateful. Better living through chemistry! Lol."

Sofosbuvir / velpatasvir for Hepatitis C "Made me very sick to my stomach, so bad I was foaming, throwing up. I called my nurse practitioner and never got a response till a week later! Again I called, she told me to call her on Monday (it was Friday), again didn't return my call! My GP recommended another doctor. What a difference! My pharmacy was in contact with me all the time, made sure I called them 24/7 if I had a concern, etc. Make sure you have the right treatment for Hep C, and lucky for me the right doctor."

Sofosbuvir / velpatasvir for Hepatitis C "Well, I was diagnosed with Hep C and prescribed Epclusa. I am now 10 weeks into my treatment, and I feel absolutely fantastic. My energy level is back, I now get out of bed at 8 o'clock most days. The side effects for me were mostly a lack of energy that lasted for a couple of weeks and a bit of nausea, both were easy to get through, and now I feel like a new person. I would recommend this treatment to everyone who gets the offer. I am now 8 months clean from IV meth and heroin, and this medication has been great for me. To anyone starting treatment, good luck, you can do it."

Sofosbuvir / velpatasvir for Hepatitis C "I'm 38, nearly 39 years old, and was diagnosed with hep C in 2011 from IV drug use. I've been on Epclusa for 3 days with nausea and diarrhea. Did anyone have diarrhea throughout the entire treatment?"

Sofosbuvir / velpatasvir for Hepatitis C "I have one week left of Epclusa, genotype 1. I don't believe I had it long based on my liver damage, which was only 0.022. I have no idea how I got Hep C. I'm not an IV drug user, I know some, but it's not my thing. Over this past two weeks, I've had horrible knee joint pain, it's so bad I can't get comfortable in any position. I have suffered from insomnia prior to even starting the meds, but it's even worse now. My legs hurt so bad I can't get comfortable to sleep. Once I do fall asleep for a few hours, my knee pain goes away, and then it's back pain. I take my pill at 7 every night. I just am praying the pain in my legs goes away after I'm done, otherwise, I may go bonkers. I feel slightly depressed, no motivation, but no major headaches or nausea. So... it's very odd how the knee pain didn't start until this choice to be off the med."
