"I love these. My fiancée has been struggling with intense constipation. She hasn't had a bowel movement other than a few bunny poops in two weeks. We finally decided to do the enema. The top is incredibly easy to push it. She said it was s tiny bit uncomfortable but didn't hurt. I squeezed about 1/4-1/2 into her rectum, at times slowly and other times quickly accidentally before she screamed to take it out and rushed to the bathroom. She's been having a successful bowel movement for ten minutes! That's how much was impacted. And it only took three minutes of this enema to get it out!"

"I have struggled with chronic constipation for years, unfortunately, ever since I was a child. Fleet Enemas are a lifesaver for when I need some relief. They are easy to use, and for me, get most of the job done. I am rating it a 9/10 only because sometimes I still have some stool left inside me even after enema usage. However, I have problems with motility issues, too, so I am pretty sure it is my body and not the enema causing that. One tip I have is to try and hold the enema in for as long as possible. I try for five minutes. When I started using using enemas, I held in the solution for one minute and only initially expelled the clear fluid. The saline makes you feel like you really have to go, but if the shorter you hold it in the less stool will initially come out. There is some cramping for me when I try to hold it in for the 5-minute period, and it can be difficult, but it is what gives you the best results!"

"Did not finish the bottle because I immediately felt the urge. Had a lot of cramps but listened to music to get my mind off of it. Started around 6:30pm kept getting up to use restroom. Felt good after two hours. Give yourself enough time. Definitely worth it!"

"I’ve been constipated for a week now due to doctor prescribing zofran. I tried everything. Stool softeners, juice, milk of magnesia, and nothing was working. Saw fleet in store and thought I’d give it a try. It is easy to use, has lubricant, but had to get S/O to help due to I couldn’t hold it in for that long. In about 5 minutes it started to work. It was a little painful (cramping) but nothing like other laxatives cause. I feel completely empty and better then ever!"

"I've suffered from constipation my whole life. For multipul reasons being perscriptions, anxiety, and just plain scared to go there are times I don't go a bit for 3 almost 4 weeks. Scary I know but let me tell you if you are reading this passage I'm writing stop. Grab your fleet enema take a deep breathe and give it to yourself. There is nothing to worry about and this discomfort you have been feeling will all be gone a short time after admjnistering the enema. It will not hurt and you will feel better. Quit worrying!!! Hope this helps I feel anyone who deals with this pain."

"I had hernia repair surgery resulting in a ileus. Doctor prescribed Miralax and glycerin suppositories. Pain was off the charts. I was in the hospital for 3 weeks due to complications. Finally I was given several enemas and the relief was immediate. I just wonder why they made me wait so long."

"I was constipated for 5 days I also have hemorrhoids I couldn't go at all I I think I waited too long by the time I tried using colace so I went to CVS and for around 4 dollars I got fleet. Let me just say I felt very uncomfortable it felt it felt really weird I was scared to use it even a minute later I had to go. I didn't even use the whole bottle as directed. My advice just take your time it's well worth it."

"Giving this a 5 out of 10 because it worked but ruined my entire day. While it claims to work in 15 min to an hour, that was not the case for me. It took about five hours for this to work for me, a good portion of which my stomach was cramping painfully. I was in and out of the toilet for three hours after that. Fortunately this happened on a Sunday, so I didn’t have to worry about work, but I just felt sick, tired and achy the whole day. Had this happened a work day I would’ve needed to take it off."

"I used the Fleet Extra Strength Enema kit and I feel like a new person! I felt the urge to go in just 4 minutes! However, the only downfall is the cramps that follow until your whole colon is cleansed. These cramps lasted about 7 minutes and once everything was out of me I felt amazing! Highly recommend the extra strength version!"

"I'm 7 days post spinal surgery and had been provided stool softener after surgery to help movement. After 4 days, trying sennacot, dulcolax, Beet root juice, plums, prunes & milk of magnesia I tried Fleet. Like the other reviews state, it isn't really uncomfortable, but just gets things moving. I recommend that you buy more than one, as I bought the twin pack and it was only a few dollars. First use, I only moved things enough that the hard bits came away. Then, there was some relief. Later that evening, I guess finally the other items I taken pushed the rest through so I had bad diarrhea on/off for a while. However, I felt 10X better. The next day, I kept normal with a bowel movement and again on day 7, I'm using the 2nd bottle."

"Perfect. Worked extremely fast. I was backed up for about 6 days before using fleet. I was scared to use it at first, but the lube on the tip made the experience as painless as it could be. I had relief in 5 minutes."

"I have a physician-confirmed allergy to petroleum/petrolatum (inhalation-reactive to fumes; contact-reactive, e.g., a tiny dollop of Vaseline touching my skin; and ingestion-reactive, e.g., cannot consume produce w/petroleum-based wax coating). If I come into contact with petroleum/petrolatum, I suffer acute respiratory distress for 3 days which is how long it takes for the petroleum to exit my system. This is exactly what happened after I used a Fleet enema, and the company confirmed that the tip is coated with Vaseline (a TOXIC CHEMICAL). So I was inserting a dangerous, toxic chemical into my body where it remained for 3 days causing acute respiratory distress. Since the application of this toxic chemical to the tip of the product renders the product not sterile, why don't they leave the tip untreated?"

"I experienced severe constipation from using zofran in pregnancy. I was backed up for several days and unable to have to bowel movement. I went to ER and they asked me to try magnesium citrate, fleet enema or senna laxative pills. I purchased the fleet enema. After 4 minutes of using the product, I had the urge to have a bowel movement. The liquid came out and I continued to push but the stool was too difficult to pass. I stayed in the toilet for half an hour trying but eventually gave up. I went to sleep after that feeling discouraged and thinking I would have to try something else the next morning. A few hours into my sleep, I suddenly felt mild stomach discomfort and leaking watery bowels. Went to the toilet and everything came out quickly like diarrhea although some of it was still hard but much easier to push than before. I was so relieved and comfortable after using this product. Highly recommend."

"I had complications after surgery to remove infected mesh after hernia repair. I was diagnosed with an illus and given oral laxatives and glycerine suppositories all to avail. The trapped gas pains were excruciating. My nurse suggested a fleet enema to get things moving. I got relief within minutes. The enema was repeated and I was completely pain free. Wish I was given an enema sooner."

"OMG THIS PRODUCT IS HEAVEN SENT!!! believe me! I was constipated to the point of literal tears for over a week. I tried dulcolax, merilax, celus and nothing absolutely nothing. Then I saw fleet and I was skeptical boy was I wrong. Wow!!! It did start working after 5 min took me tho about 15 I think because I was backed up so much. Oh man I was so so so happy. This is an amazing product. Who knew a product that actually does what it says it would do about $40 of bad products I'M FREE!!! 100X THANK YOU"

"After a week of not having the urge to go I knew it would be painful. Tried Fleet and waited about ten minutes to evacuate. It worked with some effort. I’ve also found that periodic constipation can be relived with a shower wand enema. You can unscrew the handle part and screw on the wand while the shower is running. Just know that it takes only seconds to fill the colon. Best be ready by removing the drain grid also."

"So good that I went on the internet and wrote a review on a poop product. Works better than anything. Once a year I get horribly painful sudden constipation and this was the first time I had this product on hand. Usually I'm in an hour of pain and anxiety, today only two minutes of it! ."

"I tried the enema again (fleet), and it didn't work. I felt like I had to go, but I didn't have a bowel movement. The saline solution came right out again, and I'm still constipated; I'll have to go to the doctor's today to see if I can get an x- ray soon."

"Hasn't worked for me. I am an 87-year-old female in constant pain from constipation. I take laxatives and use fleet enema but to no joy. Tonight at the hospital they are giving me Picolax. I am just praying it works. Here's hoping cause this will be the third day of enemas."

"I am currently on a high-protein diet and went three days without having a bowel movement. On the fourth day, I tried to use the bathroom but still could not ease my constipation. Over the next two days, I experienced discomfort and tried to relieve it by eating berries, taking Senokot, and drinking 3 liters of water. On the sixth day, I attempted to use the bathroom again but was still scared. I then ordered Microlax, which arrived the next day. I was nervous about using the enema but eventually mustered the courage to do so. After walking around for 5 minutes, I was finally able to pass everything and I felt much better. However, just to be cautious, I hovered around the toilet for another 30 minutes after having another massive bowel movement just two minutes later. Overall, I would rate this experience 5 stars."

"Had to take oxycodone for 3 days and figured it would back me up. I felt like I had to go but nothing came out. Tried the fleet enema and waited 3 minutes before I had the urge to go and a piece as hard as concrete came out and then the flood gates opened. My butt is a little sore and past uses have prepared me for a day of some cramping but this stuff sure works"

"I have been struggling with constipation for the first time. It’s been a good five days without *significant* movement. I tried this fleet enema and I have a feeling that because I didn’t hold it in, it didn’t work. I only had a couple pebbles come out, and now I’m worried about side effects, dehydration, and a potential impaction?? I pushed the saline out immediately. But just stressing :)"

"Fleet enema’s have always worked great for me. I can always tell when I need to go home and use a Fleet Enema, so that I will feel so much better. I go home insert the tip and hold the solution in as long as I can, and then after going, I feel so much better!!!"

"I ended up 4 days ago in A&E as I was in ridiculous pain from a bowel obstruction. 4 days of 8 bags of macrogol didn’t touch it. I could not pass gas and was in terrible pain. I was eventually given a Cleen (Fleet enema). It only partially worked, although I couldn’t not leave the bathroom for 5h. When eventually released from hospital, I was told to keep on 1 bag of macrogol a day until it all regulated. I must say, 4 days later, I am still in a great deal of pain, still can not pass hard stool (if any), and still feel extremely sore and feverish. I think this may work for mild impactions, not for severe ones."

"I suffer from having IBS and I get constipated a lot and suffer from it. Like others I have either hard stool that won't come out or only little hard pebbles. I sometimes have to use my finger to break up the stool so I can get it out. Two days ago I used a suppository to try to have a B M it had been 5 day with out one and started feeling sick with stomach cramps and nausea. The suppository I used didn't work. I was in so much pain the next day I used a fleet enema. The only thing I passed was the water. I took my Colae stool softener.. that wasn't helping me any way but I was desperate. I knew that I would need to go to the ER the next day if I didn't have a BM. Well 17 hours after I took the enema I had a bad stomach ache and I didn't stop pooping for 2 hours. OMG I felt so much better. It cleaned me out.. but why it took so long to work on me I don't know. I was so sick the night I took the suppository and nothing came out. I THANK GOD AND THE ENEMA I TOOK. I feel so much"
