For Restless Legs Syndrome "When the medicine did finally get in my system, it helped with some of the restless leg syndrome, but I had so many other side effects I had to stop taking it. One major side effect was that I would get these headaches, and it felt like there was pressure on my head. I would feel really weird, like I was about to explode, the feeling was so weird that I had to stop taking it, and that major symptom disappeared. That was my experience with the trial kit. I'm on gabapentin now and no adverse side effects, besides gaining a ton of weight. I don't like that either, but I can deal with that better than the weird feeling with the Requip."

"Requip is a very scary drug. It gave me the worst headaches. I was in bed within 30 minutes of taking it. It also caused me to get myoclonus. Anytime I would try to rest, my entire body would start jerking. The jerks could go on for hours. The only way to stop the jerking was to stand up and walk. I started taking Requip for RLS, which I now believe was caused by the Zoloft. I stopped taking Requip and started weaning off the Zoloft. The jerking has stopped, but I feel very dizzy. Can't wait to get all of this out of my body."

For Restless Legs Syndrome "After years of suffering with RLS and two especially bad nights, I finally went to the doctor, and he prescribed Requip. Last night was my first night taking it, and it did work. It made me extremely nauseated and gave me a massive headache, and I woke up every couple of hours. The third time I woke up, I took a diphenhydramine sleeping pill. That is important to know because generally, a sleeping pill would send the RLS through the roof, affecting even my arms. No RLS symptoms after I took the sleeping pill. My head still hurts, and I'm still a little nauseated, but my legs are not bothering me. Since it did cause a massive headache, I will try using it only when the RLS is active and see if that works better for me."
