"I've been having rituximab infusions for 11 years. I have one infusion (1 g) usually every 7 months, which is a half dose, as most people in the UK have two (2 weeks apart). Works very well for me - no side effects. The only problem I have is when it's delayed because a rheumatologist says I have to wait longer between infusions, then I get pain, swelling, deformities, etc."

Rituximab "For me, Rituxan has been the best medicine yet. I have been through Enbrel and Humira, which helped but began to lose their effectiveness after a while."

"After each of my rituxan infusion, I feel nauseated, extremely tired, and have a headache for anywhere from 5 days to a week. Is that normal? Works great for RA, though, so definitely worth it!"

"Rituxan has worked well for me. It worked where TNF drugs failed. No flares in my joints and no sign of additional damage to my corneas. This is as close to remission as I have been in 21 years of RA."

"After taking Enbrel for almost 10 years, it suddenly stopped working. Enbrel worked well for me over those years without incident. I was pleased when I started Rituximab because it seemed to be working as well as Enbrel."
