"I have BPD, severe panic attacks, and anxiety. Use as and when needed. Promazine for myself works to make me tired, my thoughts slower so I can be less anxious. When I'm in an agitated, suicidal state. It doesn't work fast enough to always help. It can take one hour to 1 hour and 20 minutes to take effect. It can help stop the cycle of repeated panic attacks and calm and makes me drowsy. I can sleep a few hours on this or as long as 12 hours. It can make me trip over my words and have a dry mouth. I feel doped up. But it is preferable to the alternative of a highly anxious state. I don't like to take any medication. So it has to be severe for me to take it. The liquid form tastes vile. The tablets are small and preferable, but harder to get prescribed."
