"Short stinging during initial eye injections for wet MD. After 6+ years of injections with almost no side effects, pain from this solution became intense and lasted 1-2 days with little let-up! I experienced heated tissue around my eyes along my forehead and cheek areas as well. My dry eye condition has also worsened! Rather than worsening is from the Betadine solution or from just increased dry eye due to aging, I do not know. I do not know if this is a possible development of an allergy to the Betadine solution. I’m being tested for that shortly."
