"Not that bad. All my friends and family told me their experiences, and now I am going through it myself. Half gallon at night, and half gallon in the morning. Occupying the restroom every 5 minutes. I am just following through the directions... hope the screening is a smooth one too."

"Ok, so the 1st time I drank it, I was like, eww, this thing is disgusting. Well, yeah, it tastes like watered-down lemonade with a lot of salt. So, the instructions say to mix it with lukewarm water. You can mix it, then refrigerate it BEFORE you drink the first dose. The only reason why it says to use lukewarm is so that the powder dissolves quicker. Well, I stuck to drinking it lukewarm. It took me 2 hours to drink half of the bottle. I was nauseous, lightheaded, and wanted to quit. My bf called some of the docs on call for me and told him that I wanted to cancel. He advised us nicely and calmly, 'You can stop drinking 'til you feel at ease again. Make sure you drink plenty of liquids.' The 2nd dose isn't as bad as the first. Drink long sips with a straw."

"2nd time using MoviPrep in 3 years. This time, headache and nausea, constantly. 1st round at 4:30 pm every 15 min. 8 oz. Second round 02:30 am every 15 min. 8 oz. I feel so sick, heart rate up. Dr. gave this to me and I have had kidney cancer in the past. Then I read it is NOT recommended for kidney issue patients. ??????? THEN WHY am I TAKING IT??"

"Did not work for some reason. I took it at 6:00 pm and did not get a bowel movement until 2:00 am. It was so bad for causing pressure to urinate I could not finish the second bottle."

"I have taken MoviPrep before, the first time for a laparoscopic exam, and I am now taking it again for another laparoscopy to remove endometriosis. The first time, I took MoviPrep at the instructed times, first liter at 5 pm and second liter at 8-9 pm. It was awful! I had to be at the hospital for 6 am, and I literally hadn't slept because I was still going to the toilet. Thankfully, I was still able to have the procedure. This time I took the first liter at 3 pm and the second liter at about 6 pm, it is nearly 11 pm and it hasn't stopped yet, but hopefully, I will get more rest than last time. I think it definitely does what it is intended for, but the taste is disgusting, it tastes like really salty lemons, much better if you use a straw!"
